exactly. i can't wait to sell mine
same here. I'm only holding onto it until the holidays get close. $700 easy for what I have.Sadly, I'm getting there, but I hate to admit it.
I already got there; traded in all my Wii stuff and got close to $600 store credit and pre-purchased 10 upcomming REAL games for my 360 and PS3. I am so happy to be free of that horrible console.
I think we all gave it a serious effort. I know I did. but enough is enough. As one poster noted in a thread right after the E3 press conference, "Nintendo is going in a direction that I can't follow.." Nintendo has carved out their place in this gen and it clearly doesn't include the hardcore gamers... It would be an excellent party system to play with family and friends over, however I can't imagine having any serious gaming sessions on it.
To answer the original posters question... SC4 has a pretty nice customization feature, DLC, Online play, outstanding visuals, and great controls... Namco would have to compromise entirely too much to put that game on the wii.. And I highly doubt it would sell well... Nintendo fans just face it... If you want to play in the big leagues you're going to have to bite the bullet and get a 360 or a PS3..
because the wii is trash
i did have a lot of fun with SC2 on the gamecube, you could get that. i'm sure it's only around 10 bucks if you can find it. anyway, have fun playing last gen games regardless.
You really can't answer that yourself at this point?
+ Completly different types of consoles
+ Developers would have to downgrade and tweak their creations
[QUOTE="Hexagon_777"]Soul Calibur 2 sold the most on the GameCube as far as I am aware. Can anybody confirm this?SolidTy
No, over time the PS2 sales dominated all over it. What you are remembering is the initial month that it broke, because that was a big deal. Over time, the GC's small fanbase killed SC2's sales.
Do you have sales figures you could show me? I am intrigued now. What's certain is that Soul Calibur 2 scored highest on the GameCube. That's according to GameRankings.
