why do you choose other shooters over call of duty?

i like call of duty, i think its good....but i like medal of honor and battlefield...due to the more slower even kill pace, call of duty is a little bit too chaotic for me

I dont.. Call of Duty is the only shooter i tend to play more because its the only fun to play FPS out there ( online )

TF2 has been and always will be a superior FPS.

Same with CS 1.6/Source/GO.

I'd rather play video games with adults rather than children, potheads, burnouts, racists, and social degenerates.

I like Killzone 3 more because the community is better, the MP is designed is better, the maps are designed better, the weapons and classes are more balanced, and it controls and feels better.

I play Quake Live and TF2 mostly. I don't like most military shooters.

When I do play a fps mp shooter, I normally play TF2, free content, tons of mods, variety, health kits!, colour!, and takes at least a little bit of skill. 

Sometimes it's nice to play an fps with no BS that actually takes skill. Or maybe an fps where teams actually play as teams.

Why play shooters other than twitch based ones for MP? There's little strategy in almost all others and the skill cap regarding game mechanics is usually low.

COD is ok. Though I find that there are better shooters out there like BF.

Because I like quality in my games. COD doesn't have it.

Better campaigns and heck some like Halo and Battlefield have better multiplayer.

CS GO, Blacklight Retribution, Planetside 2, Natural Selection 2, BF3, Hawken, Tribes Ascend, and Warface. If I want a CoD-like experience, I'll just play Blacklight or Warface. Both play very similar to CoD, but I generally prefer BF3/Planetside 2 style multiplayer FPS games. 

Cod is boring. I prefer shooters with vehicles and lots of destruction. The maps are too small in CoD and the gameplay gets boring after a few hours. mems_1224

I like shooters focused on the campaign.  The last good CoD campaign was CoD4.

i choose james bond games not only because they started it all but because there is no hand downs you fight for victory you arent handed cheap perks to help and the single player mode in a james bond game is always interesting cod or other war games either follow life like events i got enough of history lessons at school there for i just get bored of war themed shooters james bond storys are more interesting and besides goldeneye was so awsome it got to be told twice

I play other shooters because they are better and more fun. 

Rising Storm may have less content than a CoD game but it's much more unique and the mechanics are just as solid as a CoD game.

I agree battlefield is in every way superior to COD, but that again isnt saying much.
