Why Do You Dislike Wii Music

NOTE: No offense to any one, but if you don't dislike Wii Music, don't bother posting, I don't want pointless comments on this thread.

It seems that there are some people out there that don't like Wii Music and think it will be a bad game. My question to you based on every thing you have seen and heard about Wii Music, why do you think its going to be a bad game. I ask not just Wii owners this, I'm asking all who dislike it why they think this is going to be a bad game. You have people on System Wars who talk about casual and hardcore gamers, well to me I'm just a gamer, I'll play any type of game I like and do research on a game like a hardcore gamer would, so I'm basically a casual & hardcore combine which pretty much just means a gamer. What I'm asking to any one, is state your reason why you dislike this game, people just like to say they dislike something but never give any reasons.

Actually you miss understood me completely, I prefer the PS3 and just wanted to get people opinions on this game. I just wanted to start a topic getting people to actually give reasons why they so call dislike this game, of course you'll have people say isn't it obvious why they hate it but these people can't just say why they dislike it, they'll just say my whole thread is pointless.

So am I, and fair enough, here's my reason: Unlike other music games, Wii Music does not require the player to press certain buttons at certain times but only requires the player to move the Wii Remote and Nunchuk like they were playing the instruments.

If it doesn't have these things, then it's called a toy.

2. It's casual crap. Self-explanatory.

Although a bit harsh, I must say I agree 100%. Remember the NES, SNES, and N64? Oh how they've changed. If you can't see that, then you're blind/fanboy, or both. Probably both.

I don't like rhythm games (Rock Band, Guitar Hero, DDR, etc.). Wii Music looks like it took all the appeal of rhythm games (Challenge, timing, practice) and stripped it down or took it out. Casualizing casual games does not appeal to me.II-FBIsniper-II

Guitar Hero might be the most recognizable name among casual gamers.

Go to any college parties? There's someone playing Guitar Hero.

Go to a friends house, who has a son? They have Guitar hero.

Heck, even my poor old mother knows what Guitar Hero is, and she's never touched a video game in her life.

the reason i play games is to do stuff that I couldn't or wouldn't do in real life (Resistance, motorstorm, heavenly sword, etc.) not to spend my time wistfully thinking about all the other BETTER stuff i could do with my time.

Sims 2 makes me feel guilty for not getting off my ass and living my life for example.

The good news is I have a feeling that Nintendo's has heard the cries from enough fans to really do better, if not at Game Expos, at least in having a more hardcore games coming. Miyamoto is so awesome, but he had a job to do...

I have no idea what the game is about. but I dislike all music games. guitar hero, band etc etc. Id rather play the actual musical instrument instead.Great_Ragnarok

Yeah, I remember those announcements, but that was only after Nintendo heard the outcry from the hardcore fans. It was nice to quelch the thirst of for more great Nintendo stuff, but you're right, it just made it more painful to watch. I'm down with all three of those badboy's when they hit. I'm one of the only person's I know that has beat Pikmin1 & 2. Most of my buds, only beat Pikmin 1.

There is no reason to like it... I play games to compete with friends... I play to get first even though its no big deal... People are competative by nature... I don't play chess just for fun I play to beat the other person...

Unfortunately, he doesn't actually direct games anymore, he only produces. He also, of course, contributes Ideas for gaming, like Pikmin. About 5 years ago, Miyamoto stressed that he has his whole life, tried to get his wife to play games. She won't do it. He has tried and tried to get here involved, but it hasn't happened. I think Wii Music is one of those endeavors. Doesn't make it any better of a game though.

Why would Sheep hate that Gif? It's just representing a segment of E3. They should be proud of the Wiimotes being used to waggle-riffically.

Remember ninty's E07? It was bad. But E08 was even worse. They had a lot of nightmares just watching this gif.
