A lot of people here are saying the multiplats are better on the ps4. Why do you think there better. i know cod on xbox is 720p but all the other ones on xbox one are 1080p just like the ps4.

All multiplats are better on PS4,BF4 for instance is 720p too on xbone. PS4 is better because it has superior GPU, plus xbone dedicates processing to kinect further weakening it.
Assassin's Creed and Battlefield also have higher resolution on Ps4. The reason is simple: Ps4 is a more powerful machine.

2 reasons:
1. Higher resolution in ps4 like you stated (ex. battlefied and call of duty ghost)
2. Exclusive content on ps4 version (like 60 minutes of exclusive content on ps4 AC 4 black flag that is only on ps4) When xbox gets exclusive content, it is usually timed exclusive which is meaning less since eventually sony gets it later on
If the sony multiplats really better then why are all the review sites giving the xbox one multiplats the same score as the ps4 multiplats?
They didn't want lemmings to go into dc mode.
just because something is at a higher resolution doesn't mean it is "better" you have to account for performance as well. Also whatever extra features that might be console exclusive like exclusive content or early access to content. Controller also matters. To me the 360 had superior multiplat shooters simply because of the controller. With that said early accounts are saying that multiplats run at a higher res, same fps, and use a better controller on the PS4. So take that however you want.
so long as they are equal, that's still a point for the ps4 as it's the system that is $100 cheaper. Better multiplats, no matter how small the differences, are just a bonus to it all.
With party chat existing on ps4, there is more or less an even playing field when it comes to online gameplay.

No offense but you need to do more research before coming up with a topic like this.
COD: Ghost, BF4 and AC4 has higher resolution on the PS4.
PS4 simply has more GPU raw power, no doubt about it.
The people saying it's because of the PS4's more powerful GPU are incorrect. At this stage in the game, especially with a game like COD: Ghosts, it's clearly due to driver/development issues. The PS4's power difference shouldn't be apparent for a long time, and the XBO is more than capable of running these games at 1080p, there's just development issues, similar to how devs were having a tough time with PS3 early in its life.
If you guys think the performance of the XBO is tapped at 720p for cross-gen multiplats, it's obvious you're the ones who have no clue about hardware. Same technically goes for PS4, running cross-gen multiplats in 900p. Remember when the 360 could barely run Quake which looked like a PS2 game? Then a year later it's running Gears of War, the (then) best looking game ever made. Both XBO and PS4 have a lot more to show.
The simple answer is that the PS4 has more Compute Units than the XBO, 18CU vs 12CU so it can process more pixels per second. That is a 50 percent advantage in pixel pushing power, even though the XBO run at a faster clock rate than the PS4 it can not make up the performance advantage of having more CUs. This gives the PS4 an advantage rendering complex graphical effects at higher resolutions. The manifestation of this performance delta is the PS4 being able to render at 1080p and the XB0 at 720p.
The reason XBO has less CU than the PS4 is Microsoft needed to make room on the CPU die for the ESRAM cache, which they need to improve memory bandwidth due to their choice to go with DDR3 ram. This performance advantage will most likely endure for the life of the systems unless, MS radically improves efficiency of their drivers and Sony can not. But I see no reason why they won't be able too.
If you want to know more Arstechnica has a couple of good right ups on the hardware design choice that Sony and Microsoft made in designing their consoles.
Yea this was an easy answer. Specs are better on ps4. In time I think multiplats will get closer if the ESRAM thing works out for xb1. It seems none of the developers touched that for launch games. well see.. So far my thinking is I will be getting my single player games on ps4 and my multi player games on xb1 bc of the online and my friends being there.
All games on PS4 / XB1 are running at a higher resolution on PS4... ACIV, BF4, CoD: Ghosts, etc.
ACIV is a last gen game with some next gen flare... and the XB1 can't even do 1080p with that. That's quite sad.
If the sony multiplats really are better then why are all the review sites giving the xbox one multiplats the same score as the ps4 multiplats?
Well I just looked up CoD Ghost on Gamerankings and the PS4 is scored higher, so clearly sites aren't scoring them the same. Sure some lazy sites will score them the same because they are too lazy to do their job correctly and play both versions. Hell they don't have any reviews on Gamerankings for Battlefield 4 on the X1. Just for the PS4.

As I understand it the ESRAM is used automatically, it works as a dynamic cache for the DDR3 memory. But yes once developpers figure out how to make better use of the ESRAM we should see perforance increase on the XBO... but that still won't make up the raw Flops difference between the two systems. Though the XBO would in theory have an advantage if the game is CPU limited.
I'm not even going to go into resolution differences as my TV tops out at 720p/1080i. I think the power difference between the two systems gives PS4 an edge over the X1 but both versions of the games will be basically the same. It's the exclusive titles that PS4 offers that will show the big difference graphically.
If you have an X1 and want to play a multiplat game, play it. Play it and enjoy it because that's what games are for.
@BigD: agreed. Not too many cpu dependent games around. On pc wow and sc2 are some. Isnt bf4 a bit as well? Games on both system will get dramtically better as we get into the meat of this gen
