Why does all say xbox 360 is so bad?

Im confused why does so many say that xbox 360 is bad. I got a ps3 and i was planning to wish an xbox 360 for christmas. But i dont know now after all the negative things i have heard from it :( Is it true that it is really that bad? But if it's that bad why does IGN and Gamespot and all these play on them when they review a game?

Most xbox 360 dont last more than 2 years and i hate the controllers.:)

What is wrong with this statement? Most 360 don't last 2 years with out having a massive hardware failure. And gasp!, he expressed a different controller preference.

I just got RROD for the 3rd time now :( Thats why i hate it. Im not even gonna send it again.

Also why do people complain about disc scratches? Ive never had any of my disks scratched. The only way it will get scratched is if you move the console around which and person with a brain would know.

Watchdog did a couple of experiments with newer and older models. Using "shock vibration" tests, such as putting a book down on the table near the 360, which resulted in the old model scratching disks.

However the newer models were unaffected.

Both my 360's have never scratched a disk either.

its got the weakest librarybut its still a great console
