Why does it seem The Last Guardian will get delayed?

So much negativity and misinformation regarding the games development and Developers. Cynicism is truly the crux of this forsaken community.

Speaking on behalf of everyone who had to put up with Cows from 2007 onwards...The Last Guardian is officially hyped AAAA.

There's no debate here, and the Cows can't back down now. It's either the best game of the past two generations, or it's an immense flop.

It's completely understandable why you would hype it AAAAE as our Sony have delivered AAAAE games unlike M$.

I don't care how the game looks as long as the gameplay is good and lives up to the previous games made by them like ICO & SOTC.

If it's delayed, then so be it. As long as it's as ready as it can possibly be.

But with that said, a near decade-long development is an excessive amount of time to be spending on just one game. We know just enough about the game to acknowledge that it's not vapourware, which doesn't inspire a lot of confidence.

Two months until release and zero news, gameplay, buzz, or anything at all. That can't be a good sign.

Lol Your noob is showing. The controls are purposely done that way . Team ICO fans will love it and new comers hate it.

Just because something is unpopular doesnt make it bad. Letting people know about the game will maximize profits. Sony has a diverese audience it shouldn't be a problem.

I can take delays, but if they skip a generation when their game was one of the reasons I bought the console in first place (FF15, this), then I do get mad.

And I find it extremely annoying that people think these guys are like video game jesus when they can't even get a PS2 game to run 60FPS on PS3, and comes up with a lameass excuse that it's more "cinematic." Disgusting.

Well if it gets delayed again. Not only did they miss last generation. They will miss this generation as it ends when PS4N eo releases.

In the end, was it really worth waiting for?

It seems like The Last Guardian will not be shown at TGS 2016.

Considering how close it is to its release date it is indeed wierd we are not hearing about it more.

Im all for delay any game until its at its best. But I do feel like Sony does this for every game this gen. They keep telling us release dates for games knowing that they will be delayed quite a bit. They want us to know great games are around the corner but then delay them. Its annoying. We will eventually get them which is great, but I dont trust Sony dates anymore. Especially big E3 reveal types.

Of course it will be delayed. Don't you know Sony's E3 tactic of just showing something over and over to make Ponies cream themselves? This game is no different. A E3 placeholder was all it was.

But by all means...........save Shenmue.

I have a feeling it WON'T be delayed.

Then again this is The Last Guardian we're talking about.

I'm THIS close to cancelling my preorder for the collector's edition. It'll either delay or be another no man's flop.
