Why does MS believe in the word "console exclusive", but we dont here?

I just watched the MS CES and the spokesperson mention console exclusives Mass Effect and Splinter Cell. I thought those games arent exclusive and cant be considered that? Im confused.

There is such thing as a console exclusive, is it multiplat YES. Is PC a console? NO.

Microsoft's war is with Sony's PS3, NOT the PC.

Because the real world has no care about pc gaming outside of WOW and flash games. System Wars likes to pretend they do. When a game is on 360 and pc, it's really looked upon as a 360 game that also has pc support, not a game playable on the 360 and pc. Console exclusive means "only on 360 and not PS3 and Wii" or "only on Wii and not PS3 and 360" or "only on PS3 and not 360 and Wii." Console exclusives are also on PC. Exclusives are on one system and one system only, including PC. For example, Starcraft is an exclusive for PC. Halo ODST is an exclusive for 360. Killzone 2 is an exclusive for PS3. But Halo: Combat evolved is a console exclusive for XBOX 1, seeing as it's also on PC.uyiop0t

In all fairness, PC isn't even a system anymore. It's an institution. It's consoles trying to be like the PCs of yore, but PC is now in another league. And no, I'm not a hermit.

What does it matter how cheap it is? No one cares remeber, no ones going to buy it, so no matter how cheap it is there loosing money right? I mean no one cares about PC gaming at all, thats why Microsoft showed of a few PC gaming laptops...oh...right.

Uh, yes it did. This isn't company wars thus we do not count MS games that appear on PC. Not to say that only MS does this but in this examle TC is asking why MS believs in it. Thus I was referring to how MS is a company who thus will use te term but here it must abide to the PC's seperate existance. If you can't understand that I;m done conversing.

Your done because you can't answer my question. No one said it was exclusive YOU said that. As I said Console exclusive does not denote any particular company. Therefore you can throw your "this isn't company wars" right out of the window. ANY console can have a console exclusive if it's not on another console. So how does that mean company wars?

You can argue that mass effect isn't an exclusive but at the same time its in the 360s library. It adds to the quality of the game library

You can argue that mass effect isn't an exclusive but at the same time its in the 360s library. It adds to the quality of the game library
