@Pedro: I believe Nex Machina is exclusive on consoles, and Dreams is anything you want it to be. But yeah, calling it 'a game' would be unfair, since it offers thousands of them.
Still confused what a movie game is. An action adventure title with high production values and plenty of gameplay isn't a movie game. A game where you do nothing but watch interactive cut scenes and select dialog options is a movie game. ( IE: David Cage games).
In an industry where we get a new GAAS game every month I'm glad someone is doing quality single player games.
Considering how Sony used to market their biggest IP's as movie games, they're partially responsible for creating this perception.

I know Nex Machina is a console exclusive but it is not exclusive to PlayStation and not a Sony game which this thread is about. Also calling Dreams a game unfair? What nonsense are you on man? It is not a game, it is that simple.
@Pedro: We have had this discussion many times. Dreams is a game creator, music creator, movie creator, social media for digital arts, etc. As a consequence, you can play games, watch movies, listen to music, etc. So, then again, if you are looking only for games, it does offer a ton of them. Plain and simple.
I'll not try to change you mind again lol i have already tried it a few times. I'm already convinced that you will hate Dreams until the day it comes out to PC (something both of us want). Then you will finally play it, and most likely change your opinion.

No, I "hate" it when you try to pass off Dreams as a game which it is not. 😊 If you think I hate Dreams then you are confusing me telling you time and time again the core issue with the software to hate. You spent all that time learning this software, developing your game and it is locked to that software and hardware. If you spent the time with other multiplatform engines like Unreal and Unity, you would have had the freedom to share your game with anyone regardless of platform. But, you are hedging on Dreams. 🤷♀️
@Pedro: I'm using Dreams instead of other programs because i love how its programming system works. It's still complex and capable, but makes the process of creating fun. If Dreams ends up dying, then i'll gladly focus on something different. Anyway, all these decisions are mine to make, no?
As for the the gaming side of it, you can call it all you want, but it doesn't change the fact that it comes with a campaign made by media molecule, and a ridiculous number of user created games, many of them as good as indie games you may find on a store.
The real question is, why do XBOX fanboys have such an obsession with PS movie games?
We don't have an obsession, we enjoy making fun of them, and the fanbase that "plays" them, do you have a problem with that?

No problem at all, though you clearly do or you wouldn't be so obsessed with the type of game another fanbase likes to play.
FUCKING CALLED IT !!!
NEW: In 2018, a small team of PlayStation developers tried to build their own studio to remake The Last of Us. Today, the game still exists but the studio doesn't. As we enter the PS5 era, Sony is avoiding risk and prioritizing its biggest teams. My story: https://t.co/c5gw8WuMVy
