Why doesn't Sony secure Exclusives?

I guess instead of focusing their attentions on Third Parties, they're going for new IPs.

I mean this gen we've already gotten Resistance, Uncharted, Motorstorm, Heavenly Sword, and LBP later this month.

I'm not saying they're at the same level of Tekken or Final Fantasy, but the right new titles can push PS3s.

Yeah, that sounds beautiful... But what if they don't? Or if those games are to be released late 2010 (after all we were expecting GT5 and FFXIII for this year)? Or if they delayed n-times (like Home)?

There are a lot of things that can happen. Fact is, right now, losing big third party exclusives (DMC4, GTAIV, FFXIII and now Tekken 6) is an important blow.

It might be going for that long but I honestly think PS4 will definetly be out at the same time or maybe even before the next Xbox. They might not kill the PS3 but my guess is the rumor that the PS4 will be PS3.5......like the Wii is just a slightly upgraded gamecube....is really true. PS3 games will still work on the PS4 so hopefully that will increase the likely hood PS3 won't die fast but something tells me Sony has given up on this gen based on their pricing strategy.
