Why doesnt the 360 get credit for outselling the PS3 on almost all multiplats?

Cows use sales only when it benefits them. If the PS3 starts outselling the 360 monthly, it matters. But when anything on the 360 sells better than the PS3 then sales don't matter.

Lems are forgetting that the ps3 is outselling the 360 in europe despite nearly a 2 Year gap. xbox was released 2005 here and the ps3 was march 2007. another thing is some of the 360's sales come from repeat buying due to hardware failure.

Lemmings have never gotten off their high horse on this so I don't know what you're talking about. I should point out though that the 360 has a larger lead in N.A so of course multiplats would sell more.

RDR a rockstar game is currently selling more on the 360 than the PS3. This is pretty much always the case, maybe a few games like Final Fantasy XXIII but most of the time the 360 outsells the PS3 counterpart by a very good margin. I see all the 360 is going to be overtaken, the 360 is dead, this and that negatively about the 360, but can we give credit where credit is due?

I believe there was an earlier time when a cow was claiming Silver was a lem hiding behind the GUFU sig...

Because its usually not by a huge margin and I think people have gotten used to it and they dont report it everytime it happens. Its like whenever 360 gets the better version of a game. Were so used to it that we dont feel the need to report it. but when the PS3 version is really better and sells more, since that dosent happen as much, maybe thats more news worthy.

1) NPD = US = 360 has almost double the userbase of the PS3. In fact, if you take into account the userbase ratio, almost every game that's not a shooter has a HIGHER sale ratio on the PS3. There was a link about it in 2009...can't seem to find it.

2) lol multiplats in SW?

3) The 360 does get credit, no one will argue about how it is a much more dev-friendly.

4) Apparently, some people (mostly the younger gamers) like the 360 controller more. I can understand why, but those people seem to always try to bash the DS3...(which leads to my "younger" statement aforementioned)

well when 8 out of 10 multiplats sell better on the 360 I think you should give more credit to the 360, also games like MW2 do ALOT better. Congrats on selling about 12000 more on batman aslyum, and oh yeah FF13.

It's already won a format war and even with all it's mistakes it still won't be as big as the failures from last generation

• The Wii is the highest selling console this generation and has the highest selling games. It also popularized motion controls.
• The Xbox 360 has popularized premium online play and achievement / game integration.
• The PS3 has arguably the best graphics on consoles and best first party developers.
• The PC has the most use, flexibility, and options out of all platforms. It also has the best graphics and largest library.

Make a post like this that isn't shrouded in an agenda and we'll talk.

Ok then, lets put it this way, say there is one company called Microsoft that has 2 salesmen. Then there is a company called Sony that has 1 salesman. The 2 salesmen are able to sell 50 apples, the 1 salesmen that works for Sony sells 25 apples. Now, to see which one has better salesman and why Microsoft is selling more than Sony we must make it fair and average it out. Microsoft has 2 salesman therefore we do 2 divided by 2 so there is 1. 50 divided by 2 is 25. So 1 salesman = 25 apples for Microsoft, and 1 salesman = 25 apples for Sony. Now keep the company names only change salesman to the user base. The only reason 360 multiplats sell more is because they have a larger user base which means that there are more people to buy the products which makes the chance of a game selling more for the 360 higher. Also western games apply to western people RDR=western game MW2=western game BC2=western game FF13 =/= western game.

Why? Why would you give credit to a system with a larger user base, it's suppose to sell more games. That's like giving credit to the PS2 for selling more GTA games. It's stating the obvious. Yeah Batman FF13 SF4 tekken 6 and resident evil 5 those are big names and all sold better on the PS3 which has fewer systems sold. So more people like MW2 who own 360s? What should we give MS credit for? They didn't make the game.
