I seem to have no problems whatsever get games in BFBC 2, MW 2, Uncharted 2, KZ 2, MAG or even Warhawk at this point. The PS3 has plenty of the so called "huge multiplayer games"!! On the FAIL scale, the TC is over the top on this one!!!! EPIC FAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaail!!!!!!!!
PS3 has no games like Halo 3 or Team Fortress 2 (for pc). They have games like MAG and Killzone 2 which have quickly died and didn't stay popular (if they ever were). Are PS3 owners just generally more anti-multiplayer or antisocial you may say?
why does it matter how many people are playing as long as you can find a game? why doesn't the xbox 360 have games with graphics like uncharted 2 and god of war 3? they are 2 different systems that are aimed at different things (which is why i own both). my only issue is, i think sony should have packaged a cheap wired usb headset with the ps3. pretty much everyone has a mic on xbox 360 while quite a few do on ps3. talking to people makes games more interesting and allows for better teamwork/communication.

Halo is Halo and that's the main FPS on 360 so of course you'll have a lot of people playing it. To answer your question the reason why people don't stay on one shooter like Halo is because PS3 owners have a wide choice of different games other then shooters unlike the 360.

Truth and truth to the guy who said the PS3 is more of a single player experience. Thats why i own both consoles. Play my multiplayer games on the xbox. Play my singleplayer games on the PS3.
Ahahaha, sorry, i thought built in WiFi and free online play was a feature that ps3 owners flaunted. This statement nullifies all those perks. Yeah because that guy right there bought his for the single player experience means that there is no point at all for wifi and free online :roll:
Warhawk, MAG and SOCOM: Confrontation are all insanely populated by players so you must have some terrible sources, and despite what the SW lems say KZ2 is still played by many. Even without exclusives you fail to notice the millions playing MW2 and BC2.
I just don't care for MP on consoles. Besides, PS3 has some pretty stellar single-player games, almost to a point that I don't even bother checking out the MP even if I hear it's good.

The sad truth is, people still play Halo 3 because nothing better has come out since.
While the ps3 library is constantly refreshed with quality titles, 360 players still remain attached to the scraps of what was once an amazing franchise.
as far as i'm concerned, any game I get on the ps3 and get online with, is fully populated...(lbp, kz2, warhawk, burnout, every freakin cod...ugh, demon souls, uncharted, etc.) so; I dunno about the claim that no one plays ps3 online??

no people still play halo 3 because its FUN. end of story. games like killzone 3 have a very little community because its just not that fun. seems the most obvious reason, no?
