That's definitely true. Look at World of Warcraft for instance, it became a shell of its self because blizzard tried to please everyone to ridiculous lengths. What did they get for doing that? WoW has lost almost 1 million subs.
In regard to the topic title. Because generally the vocal festering fanboy/girl mentality overwhelms anything constructive that's bought up, raised or said by a genuine level headed minority of fans.
I won't to know which companys actually listen or if we can some one to listen on my idea... but I need everyones help to get there so I have an idea where you are a normal soldier in training and can rank up and at the same time lead or fight one of the crusades that accured many years ago... it's a RPG/Strategy game where you can choose your class! You can be an assassin, warrior, grunt, archer, rider, blacksmith esc. You can choose by yourself and its a free roam game too. i hate mmos that listen to everything the fans complain about or request. if everything isn't 100% balanced in pvp, people who play pve will have stupid changes every now and then to their character.
fans don't make games, and they only think about their preferences and not how others might enjoy its changes....a lot of fans are idiots when it comes to suggesting things.
Because these "fans" are usually just a bunch of people who claim to hate their games speaking out on their forums, while their real fans probably never go on there because they don't have anything to ***** about.
Because they're not obligated to. It is not their job to cater to what people want all the time. Bottom line, they make a game, they come out with it, and that is that. Nobody should be complaining because they are lucky that people are willing to put time aside and work on a game that provides them with entertainment. If you do not like the game, they are not obligated to change it up to your liking.

I'm confused by this. What exactly do you mean? Fans have been wanting a Halo remake for quite some time.
The halo remake doesn't come with the original's MP from what I remember.
Bungie loves their community, its one of the best relationships between fans and devs I have seen. ODST was priced by M$, not Bungie. CEA had no Bungie involvment whatsoever. Gameplay was left untouched, just givin prettier grapichs and more terminals to go after. Doesn't have orgianl MP, though I dont mind the add-on to reach. I can play HAlo 1 mp on pc still.
