why don't people just give the PS3 a bit more time to catch up eh?

There have been countless amounts of threads and comments about how bad the PS3 is compared to the Wii in sales and the Xbox in graphics/online. But why do people start to flame the console just as it's released or that some games that are out are bad? why not give it sometime to catch up? i mean, there are ALOT of promising games coming to the PS3, so my thoughts are that people should wait till the Big games are out, then you can start to comment about it, not just flaming it because of it's early line up and hardware.
Everyone elses thouhts?

Another point sales do matter, sales=more support and we are already seeing the effects of PS3 poor sales, franchises which were once exclusive to Sony are now multiplat or no longer on a Sony console.

:lol: man if PS3 turns out to dominate for a third straight generation like i've been saying, that statement is gonna backfire :(

I don't think PS3 will achieve what it first set out to do (I must admit, I was also fooled by the Eight Days and FFXIII trailers) but I feel like they will achieve graphics, physics and animations far superior to 360. Then cows are going to go on a rampage after taking all this.

And to answer the TC's question, because of the hefty price tag on the PS3, people expect (or expected) that it would completely blow the competition away with much better games from the get go, much better features, etc etc. But now, it seems that a lot of what we're paying for is because of Blu-Ray and other needless features instead of games.

The PS3 gets all the fire because of PAST claims made both by Sony and raving SW fanboys. Next gen was suppose to start when the PS3 was released. At hundreds of dollars more, it should have stomped the competition.

Next time, Sony should be more humble. For a Japanese company I would expect far more humility.

Well it's only been out 8 months and the graphics have caught up, The rest will soon enough with the 08 lineup,Only thing that may not is PSN But it's good enough for me join a game play abit logout, If i wanna play online alot i just play BF2 or CSSssjgoku808

PS3 fails, by the time they catch up there will be xbox 720. The released the ps3 almost a year late because of the selfishness of including blu ray.... Why not stop waiting, trade in your ps3 and buy a 360.
