why don't people just give the PS3 a bit more time to catch up eh?

yo... so lets say you got out partying the night before the race.... show up late, while the opponent has already started... then you want him to wait up? Gimme a break... PS3 fails, by the time they catch up there will be xbox 720. The released the ps3 almost a year late because of the selfishness of including blu ray.... Why not stop waiting, trade in your ps3 and buy a 360.

There have been countless amounts of threads and comments about how bad the PS3 is compared to the Wii in sales and the Xbox in graphics/online. But why do people start to flame the console just as it's releasedor that some games that are out are bad? why not give it sometime to catch up? i mean, there are ALOT of promising games coming to the PS3, so my thoughts are that people should wait till the Big ga,es are out, then you can start to comment about it, not just flaming it because of it's early line up and hardware.

Thats just the thing it wasn't just released, its been out for almost a year and a half, no console that has been so far behind in sales have catched up after being out that long. "But but its selling at the same rate the 360 was in that time period!" Okay thats great but that means it will never catch up. Another point sales do matter, sales=more support and we are already seeing the effects of PS3 poor sales, franchises which were once exclusive to Sony are now multiplat or no longer on a Sony console.

BECAUSE mr. Casey it's more complex and difficult to develop for. and when the 360 launched, it didnt start doing well immediately, did it? its really just a matter of the system's hardware, the ports, and the developers and how they develop the PS3's games.

I'm not going to debate the reviews of 360 games of the first 8 months since I don't have one, but just because a system is harder to develop for shouldn't mean it gets leniency. That could be considered the fault of the hardware.
