[QUOTE="DaAznSaN"][QUOTE="biggamerhk"][QUOTE="CaseyWegner"]why should it get extra time? other systems didn't need it. :?biggamerhk
BECAUSE mr. Casey it's more complex and difficult to develop for. and when the 360 launched, it didnt start doing well immediately, did it? its really just a matter of the system's hardware, the ports, and the developers and how they develop the PS3's games.
I'm not going to debate the reviews of 360 games of the first 8 months since I don't have one, but just because a system is harder to develop for shouldn't mean it gets leniency. That could be considered the fault of the hardware.
but it is NOT a fault of the hardware. and leniency is not the right word. people arent being "lenient" with it--people are just recognizing that it's a system with more complex hardware that will just need more time to develop for. tha may be your definition of lenient, but its not mine . .
How is that not the fault of the hardware? Sony made a system that is more difficult to code for. That is completely their fault. The market doesn't stop to give all companies an even playing ground. Many a superior system has fallen prey to this fact, if it happens to Sony at least they can rest easy knowing they weren't the first.
