Development costs have been soaring recently and it is the #1 problem in the gaming industry. Remember how Square Enix can't recoup the costs for tomb raider even after 3+ million sales?

Whenever I finish playing a good game, I'm like, "Man, I can't wait for a sequel". Problem is, there might not be a sequel if the studio that made the game is at financial risk. Do you people have any idea how torturous wanting a sequel but knowing it will never come out is? By avoiding games made from financially volatile studios, I AVOID that risk.

This is why I am going with the next xbox. I know microsoft is going to go back with the same old Halo, Forza and Gears pattern after the first year, but I go to bed knowing that a sequel will always be made for those games. If I played on the playstation, I will never get to experience Uncharted 50. I don't care that uncharted 1 - 49 are better than Microsoft's exclusive lineup. By not making a sequel, you're pissing me off.

Buying a playstation 4 is possibly the dumbest investment anyone can ever make. You guys don't seem to understand that quality is determined by how a product compares to other similar products around it. If there are no more good, quality games like Uncharted or the Last of Us, Forza and Halo would actually be considered "good" games. Thus, gamer satisfaction would go up, as there would be guaranteed sequels and no games better than them.
