Wii is backward compatible and the game should be cheap now.
Actually I think it costs the same as the re-make.Why buy any remake at all? Because people haven't played or don't own it themselves already, and they want an updated version. Completely fine.Â
The problem is when people keep bringing these, often slapped together, ports or remake games and charging full price or just refusing to make a new, quality game. The RE4 port actually seems to have some added content, but many Wii-makes or remakes or ports in general do not.

Actually I think it costs the same as the re-make. No i bought RE 4 in Sept for $18 at gamestop Ohh okay, didn't know, sorry... I wonder if the new controls, features, and graphical update will be worth $10 though. Doesn't apply to me because I already have it though... I'll see what ALL the features are before I even think about buying it again.People tend to buy what interests them...Flipnblack
after advertising and marketing icons have lowered their standards to incredible lows -- virtually anything, as long as it is marketed well enough, "intrests" most consumers.Â
We DO agree that its milkingshsonline
Its milking a franchise, but not the gamers. To milk the gamers you need to release a product that is pretty much neccesary to play a large amount of games.

A commendation is in order!
Yes, this is true, not only for the Wii-makes but for all ported games! If you're going to give us the same game twice, give us expanded content! Tweaked gameplay controls! A tuned-up visual experience! HUZZAH! HUZZAH!

We DO agree that its milking right? shsonlineWe still arn't clear here on the defenition of milking, are we. I thought one year would teach that much... It's milking if say you're missing out an important feature of a game by not having something. Example, you couldn't play timesplitters 1 multiplayer on playstation until you bought a multitap, something that could and should have been built right into the system.

[QUOTE="OhSnapitz"]It's because people.. mainly Nintendo fans are complete and utter SHEEP!!! The wii is nothing but a rehash/port-box and the public are eating it up.. Maelkav
It just hurts your feelings that the public wouldn't play a 360 or PS3 if you gave paid them to.
Dude I don't work for M$ or Sony and could give a rats ass about either of those companies.. (they're all crooks..) but I do enjoy a good gaming experience. It's just getting rediculous with all the ports on the wii.. These talented devs have this beautiful machine that they can work wonders with and they're wasting their time porting PS2/PSP/DS games instead of creating IP's. Is this the legacy of the Nintendo Wii?[QUOTE="Maelkav"][QUOTE="OhSnapitz"]It's because people.. mainly Nintendo fans are complete and utter SHEEP!!! No, you're right. It shouldn't be the legacy of the Nintendo, but does it make sense? Unfortunately, yes.
Devs - just like Wii-bashers today - didn't take the Wii seriously, but now that it sells, they want a piece of the action. Do you think that developers would rather spend $19 Million on developing a quality game or $1Â Million on porting a game that will sell just as easily.
That's the business world we live in. For ever ONE Gears of War, Halo, half-Life, etc. you must have TWENTY Daikatanas and Turkok:Evolution.
