It all depends on what you want to play. I'm still amazed that Blizzard, Sony, and MS haven't produced a World of Warcraft client for the 360 and PS3. You would think that there would be money to be made for blizzard, sony, and ms.

Most of console gamers don't care about MO and RTS at all. Blizard know this
Why have PC when you can play same game and sometimes even earlier for 360. When will GTAIV come to PC?
aroxx_ab
When will Starcraft 2 come to 360 ?
Anyways, some people prefer playing on PC, and some prefer 360, it all come down to preferences and there isn't one more right than the other.
I wonder if one day people on here will actually just accept it that not everyone has the same tastes and just respect people choices.
Price, plus some people just prefer the couch/big tv experience. BromzI can hook my PC up to my TV, and sit on the couch, it's fairly simple. Most console owners probably don't want to take the time to do this though.
I still prefer gaming on my PC over my consoles.
Because you must pay for online
Have No mods
Unreliable Hardware
The enjoyment of seeing your system losing all its best games to the Pc
Inferior Graphics
There are many reasons to choose the 360 over a gaming Pc
Ignoring the stupid inflated price posted above by nickmat_tycoon....
A 360 has the largest library out of the consoles, second to the PC and costs about $300 - $400 less. As a console, it's easier to get into and it's for people who aren't tech-savvy, don't like the PC hassle or just prefer console games.
i have read alot of threads about the 360 just having the same games as the pc so whats the point in having an xbox? in my opinion i think that this is a good thing becouse i would personally just sit on the couch and relax while playing a game instead of a computer desk chair. the xbox should be commended for providing us with that option of game playing.aaronone
Sports games. Console 100 times better than a PC at sports games.

*sigh* fanboys can't quit being one, can they? Why don't you make the same list for PS3--wait, you are a Cow, so you can't? Blind Loyalty anyone?
1. it's a lot more expensive for me
2. Not only that, but it's more expensive for my friends, therefore that's less friends to play with.
3. i don't like to bother upgrading my PC
4. i feel that the 360 has a great lineup. the PC has a lot of games but not all of them interest me.
5. i'd rather play games on my HDTV, with the couch right there. and maybe i'll have a few friends over sometimes. (and before you say "you can hook the PC up to a TV, blah blah blah" well, i would have no clue how to do such a thing, and my PC and TV are on opposite sides of the house.

the PC does all of those things better. why do you have a ps3?

i agree. plug and play.
Less hassle. It's a purpose-built device, rather than something I slapped together from parts at Fry's. This means I don't have to use an OS designed to give you options - I can use one that's stripped down to the one thing I want to do. The interface is simple and designed to be navigated with a controller, instead of Windows' mouse-based interface. (No, I'm not going to use a mouse on a couch - there's nowhere flat to use it.)
Similarly, I don't have to worry about setting up each new game. I recently rebuilt my PC after a few years out of PC gaming, and I find it hard to believe that games still don't look at your resolution before starting up and configure themselves accordingly. On the 360, I set up my screen and sound settings ONCE, and that's it - every game uses those settings. It even lets me store preferences like inverted look on a profile-by-profile basis. Conversely, I have to keep configuring game after game to use my monitor's native resolution.
Then there's the issue of multiplayer - consoles support split-screen play to a far greater extent than PCs. What am I supposed to do when my friends come over? They don't have gaming PCs (and they're not going to haul stuff over here anyway), but with a console, I just hand everyone a controller and a Rolling Rock, throw in Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4, and a good time is had by all. PCs have more extensive online multiplayer options, but I have little to no interest in playing against random strangers.
When I do want to play online, though, it's easy to find my friends on the 360. I can simply open my friends list and see what they're playing, and join their game. Since there's no single friends-list app on PCs, I'd have to open up Steam, Gamespy, XFire, etc. and see what everyone's doing. (Of course, as I said before, I have no friends with gaming PCs, so I thankfully avoid this hassle.) It was a pain back when IM clients were new; why hasn't anyone backed a standard for sharing identities from one friends-list app to the next, so I can simply pick one app and use it?

I have both; however i would imagine it's a simple case of not being able to afford a decent PC if the one you have already is nothing hot. It'd be cheaper to go with the Xbox.Ninja-Hippo
good point, pc is good if you cn afford a good PC

Only 360 gets most of PC games ( Alan Wake etc)
PC gets a few games from 360 years later, if ever (Mass Effect, Halo etc)
and 360 gets a host of exclusives PC will never get (Lost oDyssey, Cry On, Ninja Gaiden 2, Infinite Undisocvery, Too Human etc)
PC for me is the most useless system if you own a 360, it has not one exclusive game i need, that i can't get on my 360

You forgot to include Banjo 3, Forza 2, Crackdown, Ace Combat 6, Saint's Row, Dead Rising. etc.
Imo, you need atleast one console and a pc with decent capabilities each gen. Next gen I think the lines between console and PC are going to become even more hazy with MMO's, RTS and Sim games being fully realized on consoles like FPS's this gen. I say this because I think most if not all consoles next gen will all have standard HDD, KB/M support and enough ram to play most MMo's.
[QUOTE="ArisShadows"]Dead Rising?
Lost Oddyssy?
Mass Effect?
Halo 3?
You know those reasons?
I mean, I could be wrong.

Mass Effect is coming to PC.I am fairly sure.
General meaning still stands. Until every game of 360 is on PC, then.. Well you get what I mean?

Simply labeling current exclusives to state not everything people want is exactly on PC. I could have stated mixed multiplats that were PS3 and 360 to state the same general idea. Not everything thats on 360 is on PC and yada yada..

Oh i know. We still don't have ninja gaiden, that's reason enough to own a 360.
