Well I got in with the Taken King. Played through the story, enjoyed it quite a bit. I even grinded a little to get some cool stuff. And then I reached the point where I had to either PVP, go on very lengthy raids, or repeat the same content over and over and over again. I started losing interest. The thing that killed it in the end was that, the festival (I think it was Halloween) and the micro transactions. The festival was a little too grindy for me, and with that and micro transactions you introduce content that I probably can't ever get, which is killer.

Also, why wasn't it on PC. Every game plays differently on PC than on a console. I don't get why or how that would be a problem. You could have even restricted it to be controller only if balancing the game for mouse and keyboard would be the problem.

It would have flopped on PC and died quickly, there are far more and better MMO's and Activision know it better than most publishers, they're partnered with the MMO king (Blizzard) after all . Consoles don't have the same options.

That and in general we're an entitled bunch that expect developers to deliver the content they promise, usually for free.

Hmm. I guess it would have died off quickly. And competition on PC is fierce. Well I would have bought it on PC. Spent considerably more on Warframe through the years, but I was kind of done with that.

PC community wouldnt get along too well i feel with a game like this as its a game that require working with randoms a lot of times and being nice to one another.

i've had one experience with PC gaming once back when steam offered a free MW3 multiplayer gaming weekend, so i downloaded it and started my very first match of MW3 on PC, noticed that people were typing and doing conversations with one another on the screen (which i still think is very neat!) so my first thing i wrote was "Hey guys! first time gaming on PC, i play mw3 so much on PS3 so im a complete noob with mouse and keyboard lol" you know what the replied i got? some were saying go back console noob, some were like lol 10 year old console gamer or lol controller kid.. garbage community, deleted the game and steam that day lol

MMO's started on and are a core gaming genre for PC, hell we've had years of MMO's don't count on system wars because consoles just do not get them. Do you honestly believe that MMO as a genre would still be around if people couldn't progress the content with a PUG (pick up group). The entire concept is based around team work and group play.

What's even better is that you based that view on a single game of MW3, of all things! For that you have graciously earned this reward

Like i wonder, what exactly do they expect us to do on the 5th of February 2016? What do you log in for? The only clear answer available is The Crucible. Problem is, The Crucible is THE ONLY thing you could've done in the last 3+ months because there's nothing else but Crucible. So again, why would i log in to do what i've done every single day for the past three months? What other mmo has been this poorly supported? I cannot think of a single game, that includes shitty games 7 people have heard off of. What a messy messy series.

Played destiny on the beta for the ps3...detested it as the most basic barebones mmo that it is, I found no enjoyment killing the same 6 enemies 5 billion times, so I refused to get the game, also since the crucible is crap which depends on equips, and levels and not actual skill..
Yelled at my nephew for his obsession with the game, especially once he got a ps4 and he like a moron traded in the 34 dollar ps3 version I got him *which I purchased so he would stop renting it* for 14 dollars so he could then spend the 100 or so for the return of the king bullshit edition.

But I was growing bored so I thought hey maybe I'll get onto it for a bit get to whatever level is required to for crucible....did so....laughed as it matched me at my low level with max level max light or whatever opponents and watched them kill me across entire rooms with a shot gun...deleted my character and haven't touched since.

I also will never play it regardless of re-balancing or if they were to release a version of the crucible where every one has the same weapons and no perks, because they invited Anita *never played a video game* Sarkesian to the studio, I will never give my money to a company that panders to a person like her.

I know for me and my friends, we had did everything that could be done except for most of the Raids. We had all Level 40 gear and infusing was only able to get us busy but for so long before we got tired of trying to find higher-rated items to infuse our gear with. More than likely, I won't be back until Destiny 2. I will say that The Taken King definitely repaired my relationship with the Destiny franchise. Bungie did several things right with that.
