Wii: For old ladies and kids, bad gpu/cpu, and mario and zelda just are not appealing to me.
360: too expenisve for what it offers(crap) and too many things are not free, and unreliable hardware.

PS3: Needs a game that actually seriously interests me, as of yet none. Price drop certainly could help too. However, I'm still on SDTVs so the graphics aren't that big a deal to me.
X360: See PS3, + now I don't trust the hardware either (only friend who has one has had serious issues with it so I'm very leary). In particular, really needs a standout game to me that ISN'T going to PC.
Wii: Still waiting on Nintendo to remove that stupid piece of junk game from the pack in, plus it too needs some titles I actually want. Till then, I refuse to buy it on principle.
So, mostly it's the lack of games for my taste at the moment (not having HDTV also means 360 and PS3's graphic umph doesn't really sell me much).
I haven't bought a ps3 because i refuse to pay more than 300 GBP for a games console, also there isn't one game that i even want to play on the system, that isn't already/coming to the 360.
I haven't bought a Wii (yet) because there isn't one game that makes me go "omg i need a Wii now".This will change when SMG comes out,i plan to get one then so later this year.
I have a 360.
PS3 - Don't plan on buying one, but would if it was maybe $400 cheaper (or if needed a Blue-ray player) and had more games.
360 - Too expensive. Not reliable. Not free online. Not wireless.
Wii - Not enough good games. Crappy online gaming (friend codes: WTF ARE YOU THINKING NINTENDO??)
Mhmm, same for me.360 - Own
Wii - Own
PS3 - Perhaps in few years when there is a good price drop. I eventually play my MGS4 one way or another.

Wii: I have it. The controls are excellent
Xbox 360: Have it. Like the online.
PS3: don't have it yet. Waiting for big games to come out.
PS3 - really not interesting enough, no games, overpriced, basically a 360
360 - only a few games im interesed in, too much milking, hardware issues
PS3: Games. Lots of games. My parents were actually willing to get me a PS3 for my birthday, and I turned it down after 10 minutes of thinking it over. There is just NOTHING to play on it. Once it has some more games (like MGS4...*yayy*) I'll get one, but at the moment it has absolutely nothing. The high price doesn't help, and I wasn't going to let my parents spend that kind of money on something I wasn't going to use.
Xbox 360: Have it, love it. Probably one of my favorite consoles ever.
Wii: Have it, love it. Tons of fun.
Personally, I can't wait until the PS3 finally gets some good games to play. I'm getting a PSP instead, since it has picked up some steam in the last few months and gotten a lot of great games (especially MGS!). Only problem is that now I won't know which to take on trips...DS or PSP...?

You turned down a free PS3?
[QUOTE="latinrage69"]ps3: too expensive and no good/interesting games
wii: i don't play with littile kids toys. (nintendo is the fisher price of the gaming industry)
if the ps3 came down to $400 and has good games or interesting games, i'll consider buying one.
i'll never buy a wii.

im willing to bet that you will buy a wii soon. suppose its your choice if you want the same things with shinier graphics. All i know is that the potential is there for Wii. Some game very soon will prove the Wii's worth to the hardcore. its already won over the casuals and im in the middle of casual and hardcore. i dont play too many games yet i love the casual games such as wii sports. Also i love coming on gamespot to read what the kids have to say on system wars. its really sad reading it sometimes. oh and ofcourse for gaming news :D!
if we were to make that bet, you would easily lose because i will never buy a wii, and you can quote me on that. i prefer to play a video game console (xbox 360) and not a childs toy (wii).
My family is going to start paying for college soon, so I'll feel like a jerk if I ask for a next-gen console, especially when they're going to be paying for 2 sons to stay in college, and I have no idea if I'll be able to support myself and my videogaming hobby when I'm in college on my own. Hopefully art college doesn't cost much and I can get plenty of freelance work for extra cash.
[QUOTE="True_Sephiroth8"][QUOTE="PSP107"]PS3- is mostly a 360
360- Mostly a PS2
PSP107
What i really trying to say is that PS3/360 arent separating themselves from PS2 games.
I mean NBA 2k7 was only $20 for PS2 while the 360/PS3 was $60 which is funny considering the game is just the same.
So you're pretty much saying that PS3 is mostly a PS2? :\
360: Don't wanna buy one yet.
Wii: I'd rather save for a 360.
u know why??? coz sports games and other third party muti plats. useally dont look alot better until the last gen systems*ps2* are all dead..that might be a problem this gen b/c the wii has last gen type graphics
anyways im waiting on 100 buck price drop on the 360 and ps3. already have a wii. prolly will get a 360 this xmas and a ps3 the xmas after...
