Why Hermits don't post on these boards

I don't like to sound like a fanboy, but to every cow and lemming out there, if your console is so great, why arn't you playing it right now instead of spending hours on SW?

The smart PC gamers don't post here because they know better. Most of them are to mature to do so and the ones that do just come here to thumb their nose up at console gamers and in the process make themselves look worse than the console fanboys.

Real hermits should be above arguing with console fanboys because there is not doubt that the PC is more advanced. It's like a dude that owns a plane bragging to a car owner. It's completely unnecessary.

I own a pretty decent PC and I'm about to build a DX10 monster pretty soon. Why argue in SW about how good my PC is...I KNOW it's better.I'd rather keep my arguements here console specific.

So you're arguing that the PC is better because it can play great games from the past 10 years, but the the consoles are only limited to the clandestine "one good game" :? The only reason I still have a PC is for it's versatility. I won't have one for much longer. Microsoft's monopoly is faultering, they are no longer the present nor the future. They are simply a company now, and we are finally free to rid our need of them.Svarthek

Yeah, PC is the king of FPS, RTS and MMORPG.

And? If i want to play a shooter there's plenty on 360 and i dont give a crap about RTS & MMORPG.

Really, PC sucks on varity, Sure it has FPS, RTS and MMORPG but beyond those genres it has almost nothing. I'm a Wii60 guy and with Wii60 i can get all the genres i want. I can get platformer and adventure games (Mario Galaxy, Zelda TP, Super Paper Mario, Kameo, Banjo 3, Sonic Secret Rings, etc), fighting games (SSBB, DOA4, Virtua Fighter 5, Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi, Fight Night Round 3, etc), Racing games (PGR3, Forza 2, Excite Truck, Burnout 5 & Revenge, Mario Kart - Nintendo will make one eventually for Wii, ), RPG (Fire Emblem, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, etc), Party Games (Mario Party 8, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Monkey Ball Banana Blitz, etc) and lots of shooters on 360.

I currently own a Wii and will get a 360 very soon (Mostly for Banjo 3). When i get a 360 it will together with my Wii open up a huge collection of games released and soon to be released for me to choose between from various different genres. If i choose PC i would have had to limit myself to FPS, RTS, MMORPG and a very limited selection of games from other genres (With no famous tittles such as Zelda in that limited selection).

No thanks, i choose consoles. With that i can get games from all kinds of genres and wont have to use a huge amount of money to get an expensive PC. Console gaming FTW!
