Why I'm so damn excited for HALO3 - Share your best, past Halo moments!

I went to this one halo party (8 vs. 8) and the match was Slayer, beaver creek, free for all, shotgun's andswords only, 100 points to win. Everyone there sucked, 'cept me and my friend. The entire matchwas basically me and him neck and neck, while everyone was dropping like flies. I had finally passed him up, my score 96 and his 95. Allof the sudden I heard him sayfrom the other room "Hey everyone, help me take out Joe.". Out of nowhere eight guys circled me... I threw a grenade to the left (Double kill) then I nailed a guy with my shot gun. My friend and I were the closest: it all depended on that duel. He made the stupid mistake of jumping before striking me with his sword. Istickied him in the air, then when he got close enough I lunged at him (Making him fly back.) then he blew up.

My best Halo round ever.

That sounds like such a fake story. Let me make one up too:

I was playing a 16-man, sword only free-for-all on Warlock. I was dominating, as usual, and they were all like "GET THE GUYBHINDYOU!" So there I was! Me, with me single sword, vs an army of Spartans and Elites. They all started jumping at me and I was taking them left and right as the Matrix music played in the background: DON DON DON DON DOOOOON DON DON DON. I threw a plasma into a cluster -- Killtacular. I turned around and lunged and took out another. I used one as a human shield.

Finally it was myself and one last Elite standing -- 1 more kill until I was victorious. We lunged at the same time, and upon realizing that my sword would not strike true, I tossed a last minute Plasma Grenade that stuck right on his face. I was cut down, but the "DOUBLE KILL" that rang through my speakers was unforgetable.

That was the day, the day of the greatest Halo match ever. And it was good.

My best Halo moments are all in the first game. I played some of the Halo:CE campaign levels probably over 100 times and 3 straight years of LAN parties. Halo2 blew chunks in comparison. The only reason any of you like it is because it's your first major online experience. Trust me Halo:CE LAN was far far better and deeper.

My best experiences were doing all the ridiculous physics glitch tricks in Halo:CE and playing Sidewinder CTF in games of 4 vs. 8-11. It's so damned fun being outnumbered and still kicking their asses.... and they weren't even half bad players we just kicked ass. It's amazing how much depth there was to playing like that.

But i agree with most of you guys, Halo 3 seems like a ok game with a enhanced halo 2 multiplayer

Single player sucks, multiplayer doesn't. That's my Halo experiance in a nutshell.

(Halo CE - COOP)

Me in a scorpion tank and my Bro in a Warthog....he had 2 marines with him and I had 1 a sniper guy.

We were like on huge convey, blasting covenant, it got bad when a hunter's blast threw my bro's warthog off the road and stranding him...I stopped to provide cover. Anyhow we lost one marine and My bro kept blasting as he tried to run to the tank.

I got blown up by those damn Banshees!!! Good Times, oh and my Bro laughed at me.

when i got an overkill (25 in a row) in a ranked Team Slayer match when i was Lvl 22
