Why is nintendo incapable of making a controller that doesnt need aa batterys?

The Wii U controller does not need batteries, it comes with an in built rechargeable battery. Please do your homework before posting.charizard1605

Thank you for clearing this up, I hate using rechargables, in New Zealand for 2 batteries it will cost $15 upwards which is a big annoyance.Mine died on me after all these years half way through Skyward sword, I havnt bothered to go pay another $30 or so for more so the game has been untouched for months now, This is why I love my Ps3 controllers.

Yes but youd have to put the batterys in a charger and you would have to wait a long time to use them efficently again

rechargable batteries are sold in 4s. Use 2, switch them out for another 2, keep playing while the first 2 are charging.
