Why is ps4 sold out it has no games?

it has the same games as xbox one

yes the ps4 system looks fancier than xbox and controller is 1000x better but folks why is it sold out an i see xbox ones everywhere?

4) In the real world a Multiplat is counted as a game

Indies make games too.

Cheaper, microsofts DRM fiasco, and cheaper.

It may not be hot in the exclusives dept. outside of Resogun, but it does have better versions of multiplats compared to X1. (Cod, ac4, bf4 etc)

Because it is cheaper and has the better version of the most popular games(multiplats).

THE ps3 and the ps4 have no good role playing games unlike the ps2 and ps1 and snes/nes and psp and pspvita and 3ds

basically the only console i should own is ps2/ps1/snes/nes and have a pspvita and a 3ds and a computer

@ProtossX: most of what you listed barely resembles the JRPG experience that flourished on the SNES, PSX, and PS2. I'm assuming that's all the other poster was referring to since that's all those systems had in terms of RPG.

It isn't sold out. Sony has stopped production since it has such a high failure rate and numerous problems. Not everything is all peachy with the PS4 launch. Sony will never admit defeat nor will cows. So on SW it is "sold out" LoL

FoxbatAplha is suffering from mental retardation. It is confirmed.

It has games, people are buying Killzone/ Knack/ NBA 2K with the system.

1) Its cheaper.

2) It has better hardware in it.

3) It launched with quite a few exclusive games.

4) It launched with quite a few free games.

5) PS+ that people already own will automatically work on their PS4 which includes giving them games for the PS4 that are a part of PS+. Not to mention PS+ is cheaper than xbox live and you get a whole lot more for it.

6) As a whole the company has spoken more to the gamer and they have taken steps to make sure they made it a gaming machine.

7) Sony has a better lineup of exclusive titles to pull from like the announced uncharted 4. And thanks to studios like sony of japan they always have new and interesting games being release as well as franchise titles.

8) It has a ton of indie games. And more indie games coming because for the past year sony has been really been trying to help them get started.

9) Multi platform games are still games. And when you couple the fact that all of me previous reasons make the system attractive why wouldn't people make it their choice for multiplatform games?

10) Sony gave the ability to have friends, chat, send messages, use internet based apps, watch Netflix and so on for free while you cant even talk to a friend or watch Netflix without paying for xbox live gold on the xbox one.

It is sold out. That's why I constantly see threads where people say that a certain store or website has them in stock, meanwhile I see one every couple weeks for xbox one. And why if you walk into a store that sells both youre more than likely to find a xbox one there than a ps4. That's why as of writing this amazon has xbox ones in stock but no ps4s.

And the "failure" was a poorly placed screw at foxxcon where they were made. It wasn't sonys fault, it was a manufacturing error. An error which was announced as an error by sony the day it really started coming out. They fixed the systems that people returned and within a week of the problem being brought up publicly it disappeared entirely and has never been spoken of again because the issue was rectified.

I pity fanboys that have to make up lies and false accusations just so they can justify their loyalty to a brand and in fact not even real gamers because they care more about the name on a systems box than the actual games.

actually... it currently has the most games among new gen consoles. stay jelly.

Multiplatform games are great, so are indie titles.
I'm sorry if you love Microsoft so much to put down other gamers and titles to justify your own buys.

It's probably 80% price, 20% bad press... that's about all the thought im willing to put into it. Bottom line, MS, Sony and Nintendo... make great games and simultaneously make great fans.

Last time I checked BF4 and AC4 were still games. In the real world a lot of people play multiplats, no one other than SW fanboys cares only about exclusives. PS4 having the better looking multiplats for a $100 cheaper matters a lot just like how it mattered last gen when PS3 was more expensive than the 360 and suffered until Sony lowered prices.

well if they have the same games, but one is cheaper I would expect most people will choose the cheaper one

I think it is a mix of:

1) It is cheaper, still as powerful if not more then the X1, and most games playied on any system are multiplat.

2) Sony has earned alot of goodwill when it comes to games, they may not be the fastest when it comes to making games, but they tend to make a fair bit of good AND diverse games compared to the compatition. This is ofcourse a leap of faith, as no one said that this will happen Again this gen (not like the PS3 had the best exclusives ever).

3) peoaple has overthe last 2-3 years lost ALOT of faith in MS as a console maker aswell as thier internal studios.

4) The Wii U is suffering from the image of the Wii, and considered a last gen console by specs (despite likely ending up having the best games, Again), and Price difference is not that big betwen the Wii U and PS4.

5) it got ALOT of good publicity. from adverts, to the media lambasting the other console makers (often completely groundless btw).
