It was easy to pirate the games thanks to the "windows CS" OS ms put in the DC.so it's MS's fault that Sega wanted to useMS's OS in their console to make game development even easier. I'd imagine this made PC/Dreamcast games more common (Unreal Tournament was on the Dreamcast)
despite the lack of anti-piracy measures Sega never attempted to make. you try to blame MS.
one could blame Sony as much as you try to blame MS. really, your argument is ridiculous in the end because MS's support looks to have made a larger positive impact after observing the Sega Saturn and then observing the Sega Dreamcast.
looks like piracy wasn't even that big of a deal, the PS2 ended what life the Dreamcast had going for it. the poor management decisions caught up with Sega from their Saturn days, that is all.
but the pot is calling the kettle back. the irony of your words is that you're mad that people blame Sony for something that isn't their doing, you are doing the same thing and then whining about it on a thread that didn't need to exist.
