Why is the input lag so high on the Xbox One?

I forgot exactly what Nya did, I think he mentioned using the word "retarded" in a derogatory manner on one too many occasions, but he's repeatedly apologized for whatever it was. He keeps admitting that he screwed up and just wants to come back. I really wish they'd let him come back too, I may disagree with the guy a lot, but he's fun to have around and he's not a straight up shit poster.

He probably could survive here on a new account, but he's too damn honest. If you call him out for being a Nya alt, he'll admit to it on the spot, and then get banned. It's ok to lie sometimes bro!

As shitty as SW can be sometimes, there's just no place like it lol. Even though it's not as fun and busy as it used to be, there's a certain charm to being on a board where everyone knows each other and most have been around for years. You know what people like and it's easy to press each others buttons lol.

I wish they'd just do a repeat of what happened a few years back. Un-ban everybody and allow for a fresh start.

Eh, in general I absolutely agree. I don't think it matters what you're a fan of, mods just doing what mods are supposed to do. I think we have a really good mod team on this board when it comes to that.

...but Casharmy being banned by Stevo was like years of revenge in the making lol. Not saying that Casharmy's behavior wasn't ban worthy, or that Stevo was out of bounds. But I think it might have been overlooked if it wasn't Casharmy or Stevo lol.

Ive played GoW4, BF1, KI all online on Xbox and never once had any 'input lag' problems. Granted, the OS UI has input lag and is especially noticeable in the Store, but otherwise I haven't had any issues.

TV's in general have a much higher input lag then a gaming monitor. Could be as high as 80-100ms in worst cases, compared to <10ms on a gaming monitor. Combined that with also the pixel response times are higher on gaming monitors to at below 5ms to as low as 1ms.

Its why i never game at all on my tv, i havent a clue what its input lag time is but it must be really high because when i move my mouse around on the tv there is noticeable delay.

And of course if your getting 25-30 fps in a game, the frametimes in a game are going to be very high, probably over 25-30ms compared that with low frame times of 5-10ms if you are getting 100-200fps in a pc game.

So the delays your noticing with console games are this, higher input and pixel response times on the tv, and higher frametimes from the ingame lower framerates, resulting in a miserable gaming experience. Even if consoles could get over 60fps in every game, if your going to game on a crap tv you will experience a lot of lag.

To add to the wall part, if you don't have the option to send them a message, and you can't write on their wall, then it's because they blocked you or made their profile private. Just because you can't write on their wall doesn't mean that they're banned. They could also be suspended. It's stupid because it was 100% clear if someone was banned back in the day.

Xbox is kaki; you don't like it. Why do spend time posting about it?

iandizion has been getting those suspension and quite frankly, I'm just glad he didn't get banned just by pissing off few of the mods here, I seen him step out of line with one of them but I won't mention the name.

Hell I'm still amaze like silversix could get banned cause I never really saw him do anything worth a banned despite I know it's hard to get banned here on GS.

I also remember him throwing a bitch fit with some of the mods here on SW because his KoF14 hype thread didn't get a sticky. He didn't seem to realize that stickies aren't some special badge for making a hype thread, but rather a means to reduce topic spam for popular subjects. And quite frankly, only like 3 or 4 people on SW gave a slight fvck about that game.

He just didn't get it though, he felt like the illuminati mods were being biased lol.

Where do you guys get your "so and so was banned" stuff? Heil was not banned. Shew was not banned. Are you just assuming because they haven't been around much that they were banned and passing it off as fact?

Nope, he was very active when Mass Effect: Andromeda was release but I think around May or June came, he was banned and I don't know why. He barely ever step out of line for the most parts.

I just want to point out heil68 is busy with life and he just doesn't have the time to come and post here in SW and he mention this awhile back why he left.

SBV is on my PSN, and we chat once in awhile. So is Flyincloud, who was banned here too. I know WHY they were banned, but it seems a bit over the top as the reason IMO.
