wii is outselling 360 and ps3.no doubt about it.just like the weaker powered ps2 outsold gamecube and xbox 1.get over it  little ps3 troll fanboys.wii60 is the best wat yo go.we all know ps3 is the next 3DO.

 The only system seller there is Halo. Once people see smash, mario and to some, metroid, the wii's will sell more to the hardcore crowd that has been unsure if they wanted a wii. The wii sports/fitness/play/whatever else they come up with will always be attracting those japanese non-gamers and they will continue to sell strong. To think the 360 will beat the Wii in the long run doesn't seem very logical right now. But, its an opinion, so anyoen can be wrong ;)

Actually, Nintendo has hired Yuri and is using his psychic beacons to make everyone buy a Wii.

One, it has a very "cute" look to it

Two, it looks like casual gamers can get into it

Three, is it's price point compared to other consoles

Four,  it has pretty decent games you can get into and stay into

Five, it has a good first year game line up

Six, it's simple, small, and not a hardcore experience(not everyone's hardcore, most casual gamers don't go on gamespot system wars lol)

Ahem... you don't need to say most dumbest, unless your trying to add a layer of insult to injury.  

It selling like hot cakes because of Non-Gaming Casuals who've never held a controller in thier lives. They are the majority now as oppose to the minority who are the Hardcore and Casual Gamers. 

On a side note, PS2 was at least at the same level of power as GC and Xbox. Weaker yes, but not as much as fanboys believe to be. Ask Hideo Kojima who created MGS 2 SoL. Plus, GoW, GT3, GT4, RE4, MGS3 are proof of what the PS2 is capable of.

Yes it did, Watch the launch sales figures, they sinked after the open months, Now look at your Wii notice now PS2 is outselling it now.

Wii is a fad just like Gc was, They only reason it isn't showing yet is that 360 and PS3 are priced at $400 and $600

The PS2 isn't out selling it... (World Wide) and the Wii jumped 30k units last week in japan with no new game releases... maybe there was a supply problem like the president of nintendo said... maybe that's why the PS2 beat it.

Consumers are not yet sold on HD gaming (most don't even know what that means and don't understand the pic quality difference from standard tv's over hd) so they buy what they can afford, a $249 console that looks fun for the whole family, and also a cheap gift you can buy friends and family. The 360 and the ps3 are not cheap and not to many people are willing to spend that kind of money.

Wait for price cuts next year from both MS and Sony that will kick sales up bigtime (mostly 360 since sony will still be well over priced).

Lets see! how about the price $250, oh and it's aimed at casuals and none gamers that don't know **** about gameing.

It's like video gameing has just started all over again, but in a bigger scale, now to everyone on the planet.

The Wii is going to do good, because all the new people geting into gameing think that the Nintendo games are what gameing is all about, they have no idea how much better it can be with the PS3 and Xbox 360. In my eyes Nintendo is ruining real gameing, at least the kind of gameing i like, the kind of gameing that pulls you into it and makes you forget about the real world for a sec, i can't do that with nintendo because all there games are cartoons.

I agree with you, however, I feel as the next 2 years go by, consumers might not look at the wii as we do today and the 360 and the ps3 will have great gaming experiences that far surpass the wii. This will help consumers choose the 360 and the ps3 at reduced prices over the wii (even if they also lower theirs). Nintendo will not be able to keep up over the long haul.
