Why? :| It just looks like an ordinary shooter to me, what so special? the graphics? i would prefer to get Fat Princesss over Uncharted 2 anyday!

The graphics look great, the gameplay looks fun, it has multiplayer, co-op, horde like mode. Yeah, it looks great.

Superb gameplay, stellar graphics, top-notch presentation, a well-crafted story with memorable characters, epic musical score... and the reputation of Naughty Dog. It was by far the most decorated and highly-praised game at E3. That the first game received an 8.0 from Gamespot was, in my opinion, an atrocity. I'm not going to argue about whether the game should have been scored 9.0, 9.5, or 10, but I know that Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was an AAA caliber game if ever there were one. The first game, for having limited gameplay modes and a relatively short single-player campaign, boasted amazing replay value. The next game is looking to offer all of the amazing experience that was to be had in the first game and much, much, much more. I see it being GOTY, honestly.

To start, Uncharted 2 has the best graphics on a console.

Next, Uncharted: DF was a great game, witha fun story, awesome gameplay, and charismatic characters.

Uncharted 2seems to follow that, while expanding in many ways...

and adding Multiplayer (very great) and Co-op (too fast for my tastes). Both are full-fledged, not gimped... that is why it is hyped:)

Yeah, 8.0 was a bad score, should had been an 8.5 at least, I can see why people would give it AAA, but it had some flaws that held it back from getting AAA.

Well considering like the first week in America it only sold like 70 000 copies probably due to sonys bad advertising then By nothing but word of mouth from gamers(because it's a great single player game) uncharted went on to sell like 2.6 million+ copies I think it even outsold mass effect on the 360 that came out around the same time and 360 fanboys were laughing at uncharted's sales at the time in system wars and now it's gone on to outsell it :) I was also in the uncharted 2 beta, and it was awesome, multiplayer was great fun and the 3 player coop was brilliant, people have good reason to be hyped, a great ps3 exclusive is coming out.

In other words, we're getting an AAA caliber exclusive, with cutting edge visuales, fresh gameplay, good story, solid multiplayer modes and generalized praise by the critics again. Im all for it. Nobody is saying Uncharted will kill gears of war, because they're different genres and it'd make absolutely no sense to make such comparisons, both games have a cover system but thats about it, oh and You can shoot a weapon in uncharted 2 too. Tell me when you get to climb rocks and jump from one place to another to reach a different area in Gears of war.

I cant tell unless I play the new version entirely remasterized with new co op and gameplay featuring the female cast and then play the beta version released last year. They should of called it Ninja Gaiden 2: Prologue, like poliphony did with GT5.

Fat Princess over Uncharted 2? Fat Princess isn't even worth it, period. Uncharted 2 is worth a day one purchase, though. The thing looks ace. And it's quite a swell package of content.

Excuse me, It might play similar to the first game but the climbing and jump play smoothly now, the first one did well but they were kinda awkward I always felt I could land in a totally different spot than I aimed for.

A Cow knocking Uncharted 2, whats next? Seriously, this game is going to be so sick, the first one was anything but average. Uncharted 2 beta was a ton of fun and a good indication of how good this game will be.

Witty remarks and living a Sunday action movie through the gameplay feels perfect for me, I cant wait to hear some witty remarks from Drake as the game progresses. Killzone 2 has an awesome cool story bro and it felt fresh to me unlike resistance 2 which got boring half way into it, I loved every gameplay aspect of Kz even the tacked on Motion sensing thingy to move the valves and set explosives on doors and gates, the aiming felt different at first but when I got used to the recoil from each gun and learn to fire precisely at moving targets it got awesome. I'll take my opinion over anybody Else's for this game, I always knew Killzone 2 would deliver and hush 3 years of hate.

Everyone who doesn't understand why Uncharted 2 is being hyped, obviously never finished the first. The characters is what made Uncharted a cult-classic, and is why it's defended to the death by PS3 owners. This goes above the graphics imo. The reason everyone loved Uncharted was because of the real, fun characters and storyline. The graphics and gameplay just support that as far as i'm cocerned.
