Why lemmings can not simply adknowledge this.

The xbox one was build around a vision MS had,that vision was that Kinect would catch on most like the Wii motion did,they sacrifice performance of the machine to be able to pack in Kinect and fulfill that vision,which was a heavy TV oriented vision with emphasis on Kinect as its core center,that UI heavily focus on kinect basically says it all.

I think 2 things lead MS to this,one xbox live users actually spending more time on netflix than playing games like MS it self reported,and 2 the heavy success of the wii which was a huge boom at first and was impossible to ignore even by sony.

This lead MS into making a weaker console that could pack Kinect in,this leave MS into having DDR3 instead of the more expensive and better GDDR5,and it also make MS chose a weaker GPU.

There is no secret sauce on xbox one,there is non nothing hidden under NDA no secret cloud boost,no secret DX12 boost the xbox one is what it is a 7770 like console performance wise.

I think lemmings need to make piece with this already and move on,the xbox one doesn't need a R290 to have great games,sure its multiplatforms will be gimped but regardless of that any console multiplatform will be gimped compare to PC that include PS4 ones,

I make this thread because some of you look some how desperate,claiming the xbox one is different to a PC,that the xbox one GPU can't be measure by one on PC,that the xbox one is different to a PC just because of the way its components are arrange.

That the magical cloud will help the xbox one over come the PS4,that DX12 will deliver some secret performance boost.

Or like one clown is parading all over the place that the xbox one has some secret hardware protected by NDA..lol

The xbox one will not get a boost in performance,but it doesn't need it in the first place last gen highest rated games and basically still the highest rated game of all time were done on Wii Mario Galaxy,so hardware is irrelevant to a point when making great games.

And i say to a point because better hardware allow for more real world bigger ones and more dynamic things,but in that way the xbox one is fine,so please stop making this joke arguments,they will not pay off and you will look sad when the next game that pop up show resolution or frame advantage on PS4,the xbox one doesn't need to be more powerful than the PS4 to have great games or better than the PS4 it just need talent.

I don't understand why you get so worked up over hardware. Why does it matter? Does it matter that the PS4 is a bit more powerful than the XOne?

In the end, they get the same games. And both get destroyed by high-end PC hardware. Get over it.

At this point MS needs something to set Xbox apart from the competition. Kinect used to be it but it's optional now. And lets face it multiplats won't do much for Xb1 since they can be found elsewhere and in some cases a superior experience. I don't have a gaming rig but if I did that's where I'd play my multiplats since I can use a controller on pc if I want to. This is why I prefer playstation and nintendo, they get more exclusives and have a larger first party line up. Now if MS can strengthen their first party xbox could be the behemoth it was meant to be but all they seem to care about is selling non game related services through Xbox. The NFL deal, xbox fitness, and this deal they are working on with cable providers tells me this much

I have accepted everything. The difference in power between PS4 and X1 isn't big enough for me to care. The difference between my PC and X1 is big enough. I don't care what MS' original vision for the console was, it isn't happening. What am I supposed to be all butt hurt because they could have used GDDR5 but didn't because they hoped Kinect would be a popular plus? Then what? Hold a grudge? **** that crap. I want to play some of the games they have said/shown are coming. I still don't get why you felt this thread was necessary or enlightening?

Oh yes i know that and i even use it against lemmings,netflix was used more on PS3 than 360 because on PS3 netflix wasn't behind a pay wall,just like online play wasn't,so every one could use netflix contrary to the xbox 360 which require live gold which not every one had on 360.

Are you bored, tormentos? Last time i checked games are released in the same resolution and framerate nowadays, the ps4 may look a bit better (so they say)

But do people really care? Espcially now you can buy an xboxone without a kinect. Some do of course, and if a stronger system is your only concern they they certainly need to buy the ps4. But there are other things as well. Like:

- the controller

- the exclusives

- the community

- the price

-the support

I for one do have a pc (as you know by now) but I still like a console. Because for instance i like to play with a controller and I know I can connect a controller to my pc but when it comes to competitive multiplayer , mouse & keyboard always has the upperhand. I hardly don't play with mouse and keyboard anymore because i want the tv so for certain competive multiplayer games like gta V for instance ( i don't do call of duty or battlefield anymore) I will have to buy a console.

I won't buy a ps4 though, simply because I don't like the controller and the exclusives. And I'm not going to buy a ps4 just because a couple of games might look a bit better. The difference is not worth to adapt to the controller and don't have some xbox exclusive content that I find important (like legends players in fifa ultimate team for instance)

For children the ps4 can also be better, if english isn't your first language. Playstation games always have better language support. I for instance speak dutch , but xbox games never have any dutch voices or even dutch subtitles. Playstation games always have dutch subtitles and sometimes even dutch voiceover

So yes , tormentos, the ps4 is overall the better system, but that doesn't mean it will be right for you. If you want fifa legends in ultimate team, or any other exclusive like forza 5 for instance, the ps4 isn't going to help you with that. If all your friends are on the xbox, then yeah you're suddenly all alone on the ps4. As for the controller, there are adapters available but still, it's a hassle. I also want to mention that the overall consensus is that the xbox1 controller is the most ergonomic controller.

As for me , when i look at the quality difference in games now, there isn't much to be seen between the two consoles. If you want graphical prowess, buy a pc, not a playstation. I know you're going to say I'm a lemming and not a hermit but that 's not true. I'm a lemmit.

Dude, i told you. The only reason why i'm more pro-xbone right now is because i see more interesting, AAA exclusives from MS. But i've always said the PS3, which i own, was much better than 360, which i don't want, IMO. Pulling the "pc gaming card" nowadays ends most arguments since pc has gotten so much better.

Only reason i may seem more lem, is because cows have become the worst, specially since TLOU and the Potato 4 reveal. But no, i'm always a pc gamer first, and use consoles has a simple way to play exclusives. In fact, i like the WiiU than the other 2.
