Why Pc will always Win

Did you really just say this? lol

It's fine to game on consoles, I even own a 360, but what do you consider maximum resolution? Since most games tout 1080p, I would expect that's it, but almost no games run at 1080p, most FPS run at 640p or 720p and even then they don't always have great framerate.

1. PC does offer things in all those genres, but how often are they AAA on consoles compared to PCs? Yah?

5. PCs do not trump absolutely everything about consoles and handhelds. They have more power, and more features sure, but the convenience of a gaming console being ready to play absolutely every game that comes out for it for years and years without worry of having to upgrade is nice, and consoles offer games that the PC does not have.

AAA scores are just opinions, but it's pretty obvious which genres are better on which platforms.

Opinion yes, but I like them, and so do millions of others. It's reason enough to own at least one console.

A touchpad? No, I'm completely oblivious to those. Are you able to play FPS games with them really well? :roll:

I won't be, but I don't really care. Like I said, I own my own custom gaming PC just so I have that option. Not going to be blind to the upsides that consoles and handhelds have, however.

So, when Crysis came out what was the cost of a PC capable of playing it on max settings? And on highest resolution too? Double...triple the cost of the 360? Not only that, but the 360, and PS3 will both have games that run at a great framerate at the maximum resolution till the end of their lifespan. No need for upgrading as I said.

Consoles are not better, agreed, but there are still some things on consoles that are not available on PCs, and until then I personally plan to own consoles alongside my PC. I'm not just going to give up console gaming just because Crysis has the best graphics.

im not tryin to put them down or anything, im just stating facts here, i personally really dont care about teh graphics/resolution, but i do care about framerate, since a poor framerate can really have an affect on the game(i personally beleive all games should be programmed to run at atleast 60 fps, no matter what measures of graphical aspects that need to be brought down)

although i will admit cosnles do provide me with my Jrpg's i much love, but...current gen consoles jrpg line ups are half ass compared to ps2/ps1/snes

and platformers...sure they were certainly provided at a much higher rate than the pc...

previous gens!, the only true platformers i can think of atm this gen are the ratchet & clank for ps3 and braid for xbla(no i dont consider the new banjo game a true platformer, a good game though), which is quite sad since platformers are one of the biggest and deepest roots for consoles

other territors sold from 4-9 million units (japan being the most of them )

as for pc, i dont think so ,

if you pay 1000 for a pc, your wasting money by the pound ,

because you still update it every month , get viruses and what not lol

consoles can not get viruses

they dont need expensive update to run , they dont need to be touched for as long as you own it ,

you buy a new one every 5-6 yrs

- Hardware customization/upgradability

-Cheaper games

-Better graphics

-The most games

-Cheaper and easier to develop for (all video-game companies know how to do PC programming)

- Steam

-Game mods

-Better for FPS, RTS and RPG

-PC can be used for things other than gaming

I give multiple examples of where a PC doesn't excel. I'm not combining everything together to be an overall better package than a PC. Just certain areas.

Fighting games? No

Platformers? No

JRPGs? No

Side scrollers? No

Better control for games besides FPS? Not really.

No Halo 3, none of Nintendo's lineup.

No portability such as the PSP and DS offer.

More expensive.

Split screen? No
