Why PC's will always top consoles...

My PC is doing fine for what I need it for. I certainly don't need it for playing games as I have my consoles for that.

That is common sense right there.

That logic can be reversed since isntead of buying an average PC you could of gotten a gaming rig for less than the consoles pricing.

I have the money to spend on my consoles and so I am not going to spend less on a PC gaming rig.

If things get a bit tight money wise in the future i might have to move to PC gaming and torrenting my games.... until then I am happy with my console gaming :)

dude nothing is streamlined on the PC, its too broad based, and its for people who rather worry about FPS than run games. its a good thing, but gaming is best served on a console/

Well if it won racing game of the year then yea I guess it was that year O_O , games like GTA are very easily played on the PC, the driving is about the same, but the shooting is 10x easier.

Gears of War .. ofcourse, the mouse of analogs, its got a smoother frame rate, 5 new chapters, better weapon balance....

what is wrong with you guys? forza 2 and GT arent the obviouse two best racing games out there? PC gets neither but yet they have better racing games. and you cant even play multiplayer on the same screen which is another huge downgrade.

First of all you are either bitter because you havent been able to get a new OS since Windows 95 or you smoked a little to much weed last night and you opinions have been messed around with...

First of all almost all genres of games look, run, and feel better on the PC, For example (FPS) Mouse and Keyboard dominate the feel of analog sticks, ounce crysis comes out it will make all you cows think your beloved cell is a piece of junk, (RTS) nothing really to say here other than the fact that PC owns this genre. (MMO) seroiusly ounce a console comes out with a decent MMO that handles well call me. (RPG) Bioshock looked so much better on my rig then it did on my friends 360 and it controlled a lot better. (Online Shooters) thenumber of gamers per roomon console games is abolutley pitiful to that of the PC.

And last of all the hermits beloved mods who ever says mods are not a great part of a game they are obviously blind as steveie wonder.

but ill take mass effect and continue to play halo 3 you can take crysis which will come to 360 if it is good enough for PC and UT3 early but it doesnt matter because there are already too many good games coming out this year as it is.

I'm having difficulty quoting for some reason; so in response to the PC GOTY arguements

Correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't gamespot used to have a game of the year category for consoles and then for PC's? Hence, before 2003, no PC and Console game were competing for GOTY?

Anyways; PCs have had some great games.. and being that its an open platform there are some interesting capabilities(like mods, free games, indy games) that are not as flushed out(if at all, in most cases) on consoles.
HOWEVER with that said, the arguement that console gaming is for the lazy, or ignorant is complete BS. There are TONS of games on consoles that are ridiculously good, plus the best consoles of each gen have gotten some incredible amounts of games in many different genres.. which is something that the mainstream games don't seem to be offering on PC's. The PC has a great community, and if thats what you care about in games then i can see why PC is your preference.. but not all of us want that. I'm not dismissing mods, or user generated content; it's really great. But my favourite part of gaming is the incredible experiences the original games offer, mainly single players.. so, its really the games that give me reason to prefer a console each gen.
Also, counting AAA and AA to determine the best library is VERY flawed. Your library could consist of nothing but AAA and AA sports games, and it wouldn'tnecissarily benearly as good as a library that had less AAA and AA games from a variety of other genres. There are other factors one must consider! Especially now that Option 3 won!
