Why PS3 don't need cross chat ?

I thought the answer to the question "why PS3 don't need cross chat" is because people don't have headsets. :P

I beg to differ. If PSN had cross game chat I bet sales of PS3 headsets would rise to great levels.

But the computer we're using right now isn't our PS3 or 360 duder. What if people want web browsing on their 360 to show their friends a funny youtube video quickly, or cross game chat to talk with their buddies on COD while they play BC2 on ps3? :?

Web-browser is done all wrong on consoles and should be removed. The only possible reason to use console browser is if your computer is being used by someone else. The cross game chat feature is really great and should be implemented on the ps3 asap. The not coming bundled with headset actually does affect ps3 a lot despite what many people think about blutooth being so prevalent.

My big complaint with Cross Chat is it is another way for people to cheat in online games. Its a nice feature but I dont think I would use it and it would hurt some of my favorite games.wooooode

Which is why Acitvision blocked the feature in the first place because it could lead to even more cheating,yet some how it hasn't affect MW2 player at all and still is the most played game on live for several months.

I don't use the online browser a whole lot on my PS3(sense my PC is right next to my PS3:P) but cross game chat is a useful feature and I also see a lot of people on XBL use it. Hopefully Sony would implement it later on some update which brings the question, why haven't they already?
