Dude don't worry about it. The game will still be good. Sometimes change can be for the better. Why not wait and see what happens. HarlockJC

Change for the better? Banjo Kazooie score 9.5 Tooie scored 9.6. Doesn't get any better than that ;).

I'm not saying it won't be good, but I just doubt Rare will live up to the Banjo name :(.

They changed the gameplay, that's expected in a franchise that hasn't had a main release in 8 years. It's still very much Banjo-Kazooie and a platformer, even if it doesn't stick to tradition.

Metroid prime took the series in a new direction but was still a success and was well received. The metroid fanboys were just like the rare fanboys today.

Banjo nuts n bolts may not be the series at its roots, but it can still be a success, just like Metroid Prime, that was the point.

What are you talking about! PDZ was NOTHING like PD... PD was a masterpiece of a game that I loved and played over and over. PDZ was absolute garbage that I struggled to finish once and upon purchased I planned to keep but upon playing I got rid of it as soon as I could. I lost faith in Rare's quality in games at that point.

What has rare brought the 360 - i'll see if I can bach the titles. PDZ was an over rated joke. I likes the shinyness and the fact he SE version I had came in the metal case, the game engine was basic beyond belief though.

not me - i don't have a ps3 on the bases that the ps3 is rubbish.

also, haze is not out. I can only comment on the screen shots that look like they have been lifted from halo 3.

If the game is good, fair play - i am not against good games.

Sure it would be easy to say Condemned ( great game ) is mediocre compared to today's offerings but in 2005 when these game were available and reviewed is the salient point here as how would you like a favorite game of yours in 2005 being reviewed against games just now being launched - Fair ?

In fact, everything Golden Eye did, Perfect Dark did better. Everything. Goldeneye was COMPLETELY surpassed in every way.

Fine, but at least I think we now can say Rare is living and breathing. :)

Let's not get carried - it's a very short list of dev's that can boast about doing more this gen. !

Perfect Dark was better. It had WAY more features. It had a full multiplayer. It had easily 20 times the amount of options that GE had. That 20 times is not an exaggeratiuon. Perhaps it's more. But, honestly, "Aliens" and "Ge felt so badass" can't possibly make GE a better agme. It only makes you sound ignorant.

My point was more that rare as we knew has moved on.
