I basically stopped reading at VGchartz. Regardless of whther or not I believe the number (I don't just for reference) I need something more reliable than VGchartz as evidence.

The game's total sales as of Jan 2009 was 13m so if we go according to to the userbase of both consoles worldwide, 5M-5.5M for the PS3 and 7.5m-8m for the 360, this is my guesstimate.

If we go by your gussestimtae is very close to VGChart's.

The fact is the game sold 13 million...and that is an article from begining of March 2009. The article also mentions the "international sales for both versions are 50/50" so Haze-Unit's "guesstimate" would have to be a little bit more higher IF, we go by what this article says based on the NPD around that time...which is something more credible than VGCharts.

And its almost 2010 so most likey the PS3 version of Grand Theft Auto 4 must have hit the 7 million mark bynow.

No **** Uncharted 2's selling point is its Single player not its multiplayer (although it was a nice addition). MW2s selling point is it's multiplayer.

Seems about 50+ reviewers on gamerankings didn't think Uncharted 2 was overrated and that it deserved a better score than MW2. I guess all of them must be blind Sony fanboys right?

Uncharted 2 didn't sell like Modern Warfare 2 or Halo, but I think it's pretty obvious that it will get GOTY here on GameSpot. I'm pretty sure GameSpot will tell us the reason why they chose it to be GOTY, so we'll know why when that time comes.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy MW2 a lot more then I enjoyed UC2 but I'd also be lying if I denied UC2 being a huge contender for GOTY I think that Dragon Age, Modern Warfare, and Uncharted 2 all deserve itToriko42

I enjoyed the original for the story. The gameplay was repetitive.

Assassin's Creed II is a step up in every way.

How is Modern Warfare 2 trash? Sure, the campaign was short, but it was one of the most exciting 5 hours I have played in any game this gen. And the multiplayer is just awesome. I dont really care what haters say. Fun, addictive, tons of customization. Plus Special Ops co-op. How is it trash? Please enlighten me, I guess my IQ too low.

Because UC2 was all hype. No one cared, but Sony kept plugging at the exclusive because it's 'what we got' The exclusives are increasing, but none of them have even come close to finding a niche like Halo did, which is why people say KZ2 is this much better than that, or MGS4 is better than this because it's 'what we got' None of them will hit the niche.HavocV3
