Why so much hate towards Nintendo??

It is amazing, everytime I get on here there are a couple new Wii/Nintendo bashing threads.  Of course this is system wars and you should expect some hate but come on most of these threads are unbelievable.

Like

Wii's demand is going down its doomed the novelty has wore off

Wii's graphics are junk

Wii cost too much for what you get

Wii's games suck

etc.

I guess I'm part of the few that says "Why not get a Wii?"

Only 250 dollars.  An awesome online program. Awesome 1st party.  Growing 3rd party.  A new way to play. 

Everyones arguements are opinions.  Omg I happen to see 3 Wiis sitting at my local target so with my judgement Nintendo knows about these 3 Wiis and are going to come out with a new system ASAP.

Seriously do you know how dumb that sounds.  No one cares that you found X amount of anything anywhere. 

Nintendo just tryed to come up with a new way to play.  They are trying to bring more people into gaming.  Is that a bad thing? 

Bro, its System Wars. People will bash your systemm even if its a technical marvel, has awesome first party games, owns all third party support, and comes out with a AAA title every week. thats just how it is. Live with it. And judge a console on your own terms, not ours.psypher22_basic

There is WAY MORE PS3 bashing then there is Wii bashing.

i like the Wii, i own one, but it is collecting dust next to my 360...

...the 360 keeps coming out with great games, and the Wii hasnt had a good game since launch...im not counting WarioWare because everybody knows that the review was sympathy for zelda

I love the Wii-mote, it obliterates analog controllers (mouse and keyboard still own it though).  Wii is a poor peice of hardware, lacks 3rd party developer support, and is attempting to dramatically change the industry in a horrible way.

Fans of Nintendo frequently worship franchises in ways that exceed the value of the current games being made for franchise, ignore the fact that Wii is an entire generation behind other consoles in terms of functionality and power, and are oblivious to Nintendo's anti-consumers/gamer marketing campaign.

On a serious note, like some others have said, Sony and the PS3 get a lot more bashing, but the Wii does sometimes probably because it's an easy target.

I hate Nintendo.

Gamer =/ Thoughtless Consumer (I hope!).  Nintendo has given mindful consumers more than enough reasons to take offense in their current marketing strat this gen.

The blog was laughable at best. Zelda: TP is as deep and engrossing as any x360 game I've played so far.......and PS3, IMO, has nothing that can touch Zelda: TP.

He honestly believes the Wii will destroy gaming as we know it. That all games will end up being like Wii Play. He wants everyone to be a hardcore gamer that spends the majority of their free-time gaming.
