why sony > microsoft and nintendo

THIS IS WHY I LIKE SONY AND THE PS BRAND because although not perfect they touch these areas more then Nintendo and Microsoft 

1. Innovative IDEA'S

This is something I like about companies it the gaming center to have

How this fits to Sony and the ps brand.  They supported cds in the ps1, DVDs in the ps2 and Blu ray DVDs in the ps3,  they designed a new type of processor for the ps3 unlike one closer to a pc processor architect  Ps3 also came out with the ps eye and sixaxis ( not the same technology as the wii mote) and the the dual shock controller which they just received a reward for. B/C with the ps2 Sony gave us backwards compatibility for are ps1 game which contied to the ps3 (all models would have kept b/c if people stopped complaining about the price).  the first models also supported SAC, portable flash, memory sticks and sd cards. (another thing all not all models have because of complaints about price). 

2. COPIES EVERTING OTHERS DO GOODmust also have point 1 if they use this one.

yeah for companies who take and compile all the good ideas from other companies, add some improvements and put or add them to their consoles.  Other people complain that its un ethical or unfair but honestly I don't care who came up with it if its good i'll take it if its no at least I get it . 

How this fits to Sony.  Although they haven't completely copied it psn has been obviously affected by live as I'm sure Live has been (just not as much) also their is the chat pad coming out but over all l think sony needs to do more under point 2.

3. Give YOU freebies.

 This should be big in the gaming sector because things are expensive now days and even worse with the economy going down.

How this fits to sony and the ps brand.  Constant free updates and large scale projects that take years like HOME for free (why is it taking so long BECAUSE ITS FREE DUH) and the PSN.  Although its not free the ps3 when released was expensive but sony sold each unit at a very big loss.

 4. Small things

 How sony with the ps brand falls under here.  With the psn store they don't try and play mind games with you with points they just stick the price of what you want on with dollars.  They don't knowingly sale defective units ect.

Well PS3 users have to think something these days

No one wants to know that they supported a failing company that is no longer competitive.

Also it's failing TV line means that it's going to lose even more in coming years.

If I had a Sony logo on anything these days I'd be trying every trick in the book to make myself feel better

However, the chatpad sucks. I was holding out until I read the review and I guess that I will stick to my keyboard. 

Hmmm, I'd say Sony = Microsoft. Only difference is that MS have more money, a smarter online division and are more evil cos they employ Darth Vader and Freddy Kruger.

I also would'nt be surprised if Nintendo is the only company of the 3 that has actually made money from their current gen consoles.

I can't think of anything they make that's top of the line anymore

They failed at consoles, they failed at TV's, they failed at audio components, they failed at portable electronics.

In the last decade they've been eclipsed by every other competitor no matter the field.

The only win they have is BluRay

Sony thought it would be able to handle the PS3 failing by using the funds from it's other areas to keep it's gaming afloat. Keep it supposed and hopefully it eventually rights the ship.

Someone forgot to tell Sony that Samsung was just about to crush their TV branch in 2008. That follows Apple killing it's portable electronics line and the fight it lost a little over a half decade ago with home audio and Sony is running out of support lines.

The only fight it's won this half of the decade is BluRay

A) That was last gen, this is now

B) Sorry, Samsung has now beaten Sony when it comes to TV technology. Their latest loss of which I pointed out their other major losses in recent years.

C) Yeah woo hoo for BluRay, their only win

D) Not being a fanboy, being a realist. 

Also the PS2 never had a "rocky first step". Learn how the generation went. It was an overnight success and was nabbed even faster in Japan because it was the cheapest DVD player on the market by a large margin. It was released at the perfect time because DVD was overtaking VHS
