Why Starcraft 2 has the best shot at being the first perfect 10 on GS...

The game is an EXACT COPY of the original, with 3D graphics, that do not even look that good in the first place

I expect the worst of scores for this game, it is 100% same as the previous one from what i have seen

I think itll be an awsome game and i've loved every blizzard game release bar WOW however i can think of something right now that makes it less than 10 on GS.

Too little has changed in 10 years to preserve the high level player view of the game, the archaic 5 unit ques on each buildings are still there just piss players off who are not obsessed with macro. Reused unit voices all over the place, the game has no mercy for newer players.

I don't mind those issues so much but they already kill the perfect chance.

though on the flipside, if they changed (some of) the things you mentioned it would be criticized for not being StarCraft.

Hmm.. I highly doubt SC2 will reach a 10. Look at the reviewers left at Gamespot. Jason Ocampo is no longer here, and there are no longer PC only reviewers. I absolutely don't trust a GS score anymore, I don't know who works here anymore, and I'll be looking to giantbomb.com, 1up, and IGN for my reviews.

Just take a look at all the PC games that have been going unreviewed lately, it's a disgrace. This site has certainly imploded from within. Without this strong foundation, what do reviews mean here anyway? The only reason to stick around here is to see where the boards migrate too.
