good one I am a pc gamer, if it goes to 360 it will have 70% chance going to PC
who cares? The 360 is doing just fine without japan. Really, does japan really matter in terms of sales right now more than Europe or North America? NO! I really don't see the big deal or the obsession with some gamers over the japanese market. In terms of PS3 and 360 sales, its pretty insignificant.robflores3702 million sales is "insignificant" now? My God :| The very fact remains that both consoles haven't really released the MASSIVE hitters in terms of JP sales. It's very likely, that once FFXIII hits PS3, we'll see a HUGE amount of sales for PS3. I wouldn't put it it past easily scoring 500,000+ sales for PS3 alone in a fairly short period of time. The fact that there's also going to be FFXIIIVS, means another big influx of buyers. If 1 million extra sales is nothing to care about, then the 360's current 6 million lead on PS3 is almost pointless isn't it?
[QUOTE="FirstDiscovery"][QUOTE="Bigboi500"]Even if that's true can you blame them? Look at what's happened to the US.Bigboi500Whats that?:|Products made in other countries, jobs in this country outsourcing.
We in the US depend too much on foreign products and as a result we have lost tons of nation jobs.
This is wrong in so many ways. First of all Japan is doing FAR worse than the US, secondly the US (and the rest of the world) is doing bad because of ignorant bankers and goverment officials. Further more trade is ALWAYS good. If certain american products aren't selling that means that they aren't good enough and so need to change to appeal to the masses not put up barriers to protect them. If you do put up barries you alienate yourself from foreign markets completely and that is hardly a good thing. Look at Japan for instance which hasn't been doing well for a decade. Country loyalty is NEVER a good thing and has been proven so in many ways.[QUOTE="robflores370"]who cares? The 360 is doing just fine without japan. "Microsoft announced Monday that 2008 was the best year ever for its Xbox 360 video game system, despite a year-long U.S. recession that has seen consumer spending plummet.
The company's worldwide lead over rival Sony's PlayStation 3 widened by 8 million units in 2008, while its total number of 360s sold since the device hit the market three years ago expanded to 28 million"
Maybe you should check your facts before you post. The fact is that japan is 1/28th of the 360 market, and yes that is pretty insignificant compared to the U.S. and Europe. Their lead over the ps3 is 8 million not 6 million.

I highly doubt this is actually why it doesnt sell well in Japan but look at the image in the link below. www.photopassjapan.com/tokyo_-_shibuya/image74.html You can tell the advertisements arent doing much to help because no one can see them. They could have at least made the ad a differant colour to the building or used some lights or something.Indie_Hitman
