If this game sells over a million copies how many of you will man up and admit to buying it. We all know this game is going to at least sell a million, look at mario party 8 for the wii.demon-returns
Why the hatred?
Because it's not a game, you wiggle and the music comes out regardless of what you do.
It's trash.
It will sell A LOT, no doubt about it, luckily that doesn't concern me. Like Wii Fit (Like PS2's EYETOY KINETIC weightloss game, Wii Fit allows for a better life), except with Wii Music there is no value. At least Wii Fit, has some merit somewhere. Wii Music honestly seems to be for preschoolers.
I will stress this though, the Casuals, NONGamers that continue to buy Wii's, Hardcore Nintendo fans, lilttle kids, are the market for this badboy.
If 1 million copies of Wii music get sold... it will still suck.strudel420
Oh, you know it's gonna sell a lot more than 1 million! Try 5 million! I wouldn't be surprised if it goes higher than that.
Because I like guitar hero better >_>DanteSuikoden
GH, and it's successor RockBand, are duds, because they make you hit buttons in a predetermined order and get ranked afterwards to get music.
With Wii Music, you wiggle your wrist and push buttons whenever (Your choice), and the prewritten song comes out.
Much easier.
Yeah, because if something sells a lot, that means its good right?
I guess since Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears CD's sold so well in the 90's, that just means they're the defintion of GOOD music, huh?

Naah. Those were Fads. Or just POP...short for POPULAR. Plus they had a great deal of FANS...short for FANATICS.

Kids are the exception.
No, because in doing so I'd admit that I have no self-respect and that life has no meaning. The next logical course of action would be suicide; and Sonic says "THATS NO GOOD"Mitsugi123No Grenade Man from Megaman 8 says that.
I dont know...You gotta give Nintendo a break. The Wii isnt even HD. C'mon.....for them to sell as many consoles as they have, that means SOMETHING. They broke through to all the casual gamers. Some people dont believe in all the buttons on the controllers of the PS3 or the 360. Plus at the time it was the cheapest console.
Back to Wii music....Someone who is not a gamer, they really dont care what the gaming world thinks about Wii music. They might just walk in a bestbuy and pick it up just for the heck of it. Take it home and laugh while having fun. LMAO....now to ME and the majority of the gaming world/hardcore gamers/anyone with a cool bone in their body, or anyone with some sort of self respect/control for themselves. We laugh at it, or at least I do. Its funny to see. Heck it was funny to see a room full of adults between the ages of 20 and 50 play the wii sport. One guy even hit the HDTV with the remote. Me...I did not jump in on the "FUN". I was having enuff fun laughing at them. Did I tell them how silly they looked? NO....they were having fun, and I didnt want them to HIDE and play it, I want to see them...so that I can laugh at them.

Nope, Sonic
50 cent game sold 2 million copies, so I guess if it sells a million, its half as good. The more it sells, the more it shows that Nintendo's stradegy of not delivering hardcore games is working, the longer we'll have to wait for more hardcore 1st party titles.110million
True. Think about this.....why do you believe they will eventually give games to the hardcore gamers? They HAVE to have a huge profit going right now. They are selling a great deal of EVERYTHING for the console. Why would they toss hardcore gamers a bone....EVER? If they are in business, they are in business for MONEY...nothing else. If Casual gamers bring the cash, why would they worry?

Err, because if it was 100% about the money, everyone would just release shovelware all the time.. obviously its about money, but you still have to deliver a product with which to make money, casual gamers might pick up a Wii for Wii-Sports and Wii-Music, then get bored with it, and wonder "what can I play now?" the answer, after picking up a few other titles, will be nothing.. you can't just throw out casual games, MS and Sony could have followed the stradegy and probably have been closer to the Wii's success, but while money is the first, second ahd third most important things to a company, you do expect quality sometimes, for them to justify their profits.

Can you believe the PS2 has sold OVER 150million. That's crazy.
Anyways, Wii Music is sad.

I think its only about 140 million, but its still amazing, it got there with dozens of quality titles though, the majority of which are exclusive.
Personally, I like the Wii, and I don't mind all the casual games. Hell, I even like some of the casual games. They don't really bother me because the Wii has more than enough good games to make up for it. However, as for Wii Music... Ugh. It's the first game that makes me kind of agree with the Wii haters. Not enough to hate, or lessen my liking for the Wii. But enough to see why they hate the "casualization" of games. It just looks so bad and laughable to me. Before seeing what it really was like, I was willing to at least look beyond it like most of the casual games, but after seeing what it is, it just makes me wonder what Nintendo was thinking...
It looked cool when Shiggy was demoing it a couple years ago.Gamertag-TFTW
see if it came out 2 years ago and was free with the wii like wiisports, then it would have been fine, but a game you have to pay for is ridiculous because its a 2 year old tech demo, would have been fine as a little toy launch thing, but this is just ridiculous the way they are just trying to market it
