I guess i like this and the N64 is because of the memories i ahd. Not because of OOT (which was very good) but spending hours playing Goldeneye 007 with friends and much more :)

With stuff like Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, Rachet And Clank, Devil May Cry,Countless RPG's like Persona and the Most awesome Multplats like Okami, Viewtifull Joe, Resident Evil4 and Rez I'd say its a pretty close tie.

EXACTLY! Rare and 1st party games were the only thing it had going for it while the PS1 offfered so much more.

FF7 the best one too. Those are all awesome games. Look both are good consoles but your being far from objective and unbiased about this. N64 has its gems which should not be ignored. Mario 64 changed gaming and Ocarina Of Time was a masterpiece but aside from first party gems and the Rareware games the system is Anemic compared to the PS2 or the SNES which are bpth gaming legends. The Hardware of the N64 gave us the analog control and the rumble pack and Star Fox 64 will always be one of my favorite games but the fact is that the N64 had alot of issues. It just doesn't have enough good games. It has about 12 that are still fun to play. the N64 and the Gamecube had titles that were worth picking a system up but the systems themselves are not so great in the bigger picture.
When I think of the N64 I think of Mario 64, Zelda and Star Fox along with Banjo Kazooie and Perfect Dark. Nintendo got it right with the Wii however. Compared to the NES and SNES the N64 is lacking. Compared to the Wii and other consoles from Sony its also lacking. That doesn't mean it doesn't have good games it just means its not better than other systems. The few good things it had going for it is what saved it. It was only a few mistakes away from being as lame as the 3DO or Atari Jaguar.
Why are you so hostile? Your taking this way to seriousilly and you won't last long if you keep acting the way you did a few pages back.
