LOL, obviously you are not a Nintendo fan, and also have no idea what kind of background they have. Now i do admit the gamecube was not the most popular....but i love and still play the hell out of it, and i'm sure thousands more do to. Actually Nintendo said if it sells less then the GCN then it is a Failure. That couldn't be hard, with Nintendo's new approach to gaming the DS ahs already outsold the Gamecube, and it's the first time the new management has released a console.
the only poison is this current gen market. they think mature games is what makes fun games. it seems that this is what developers are all going for now a days, which is poisoning the market, to a port where its getting exteremly repetitive. the younger gamers dont realize whats happening to gaming, since they started so late. Nintendo is definitly doing good with offering a more new and original experience, with there games and with the new controller. the only poison is what most gamers are going to be playing on the ps3 and xbox360.

With the hype, excitement, and number of preorders already taken, the Wii IS GUARANTEED TO NOT BE THE BIGGEST FAILURE IN CONSOLE GAMING HISTORY! No. It's going to be a pointless and needless way of getting things done within the game, just from watching it I can tell it eventually turns into a chore. nintendo is creating a new brand name, kind of like game boy. the wii is simply called wii... not the nintendo wii. nintendo knows of its 'kiddy image'. unlike the nintendo gamecube, the wii is a new system and even though it does have the word nintendo on it, it is hard to see and is not marketed as the nintendo wii, but rather... the wii.

The TC is right. I really am starting to feel sorry for nintendo fans who buy into the whole nintendo is the only real gaming company left. If thats the case their systems would not sell less every gen. The only real game systems left are the 360 and PS3. Nintendo will go the way of sega soon enough then we wont have to put up with this again next gen.
