A person buys a game console for games not movies. Lets say they do want one though. A person can buy a stand alone blu-ray player and a 360 cheaper then what a PS3 costs

buy a cord it is more stable connection anyways.

a blue ray player and wi-fi dont give me more and better games in any way, these systems are for games, and both systems have a nice library. The 360 has had a strong lineup, now the ps3 is starting to get it together, but its a little early to jump out of the closet and claim victory just yet.

Seriously, the PS3 is a disaster in terms of gaming. It succeeded in doing what it was built to do though, which is defeat HD-DVD. So I'm sure that Sony is happy with their crappy Blu-Ray war weapon...-GeordiLaForge-

Uncharted was great for a rental and nothing more. You could finish it in under 9hrs

The wifi on the PS3 works beautifully for me. I don't get all these complaints about it. If the 360 had Wifi includedI might have kept it. Yes it is an important feature for a lot of people depending on their home's set up. Not everyone feels like running a 1,000 foot ethernet cable to their walls.

Bottom line as far as this thread is concerned both PS3 and 360 have great libraries. PS3's has been better in late 2008-2009 so far though and I think most that are not wearing fanboy goggles would agree.

well i think PS3 is much better as a console overall IMO. the only drawback is the price.

"Many, many more exclusives" is quite the exageration. By my last count the 360 has only 6 more overall exclusives in it's library and had been out for a year longer than PS3. Both are also pretty much tied in AAAE and 360 still does not have a AAAAE.

My point is the false perception out there that still exists regarding the libraries of games is still often exagerated by 360 owners. PS3's 2008-2009 has been better.
