Why the PS3 has all the good games now?

Because Sony still cares about their fanbase unlike MS, catering to your fanbase is a good way to make money and a company should do that as it's what made the system what it is today. With Xbox MS has recently dumped their origional fans (something that Lems still haven't gotten over yet) and the yare going after the Soccer mom crowd with Kinect, hell even next gen is going to be even more so asMS has closed down alot of studios and them manufacturing a GPU that is 2 years old and is only slightly more powerful than the current 360 GPU.

This isn't to say that Sony is a good company that loves their fans, they don't, they are greedy and pretty dirty. But some companies do care abotu their fanbasae more than others and that's why Sony has more games coming out, plus it makes them lot's of money. Also Sony treats devs alot better and gives them more freedom, unlike MS who treats them like sh!t and basically kills them off like Rare, and many devs have complained about MS totalitarian attitude towards them, like Epic wanting to give FREE content away to their fans but MS wanted to charge, or Valve and Steamworks ect...

It's funny to see Xbox fanboys saying things like this as if they are crying. They were like "OMG, Xbox 360 is gonna be successful!" in 2005, and look at now... oh the surprise! Everybody knows PS3 is better so therefore it is getting more attention and support. Also more and more people are getting PS3 now, thus the userbase is getting really big for PS3. willzthegamer

Is that why PS3 only has some random shooters and sells 1 million less than 360 every month in US ?

Soon i will be playing Witcher 2, Skyrim, Mass Effect 3, Fable, ALan Wake, Halo, Ryse, Draco, Dust on 360 and nothing on PS3 as usual

Well, im only missing Uncharted 2, LBP2 and Heavy Rain, from PS3 library. As a compensation, im able to play some retail, downloadable 360 exclusives and 360/PC games.

Personaly, i wouldnt say im losing alot.

Sony downfall is their desire to have a game like Halo, so have focused all their studios in shooter games that turn out nothing like Gears and Halo

It is the main reason why i think SOny is slowly destroying the game industry

Instead of beeing unique and go the exact opposite way of shooters, they fell in MS trap and they play the chase game for something MS simply does better

If all those shooters Sony makes to battle MS were RPGs, PS3 could easilly have been my top by miles system this generation

But by going shooter only they give me zero reason to like them, while 360 manages to offer actual variety, like RPGs (Fable, Witcher), Strategy (Halo Wars), Adveture etc games

God it's going to be good to watch Cows flounder in the next few years as Sony falls to pieces.

Bottom line is that Kinect SOLD. People just bought it. Just about every 360 owner I know bought it, "just because." Some enjoy it, but most just let it sit there.

It was definatly not about linear shooters like Uncharted or online, i can tell you that

It was about amazing classic games like FF7-8-9, something PS3 does not even remotly have anymore

At least MS is trying in that front, with Fable, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon etc

The sole purpose of releasing RPGs like Lost Odyssey was to try and attract the Asia market, which failed because Japanese, Chinese and Koreans are smarther than that. Also, the DS is king in Asia.

Xbox gets alot of great PC games. Xbox has a larger library of downloadable games. Xbox has superior multiplats. And Xbox has all the good multiplayer games. Just because Sony released a few more exclusives last year doesnt mean it has "all the good games". What the 360 offers is far superior to the PS3 and its overrated exclusives.Miketheman83

Everything MS does thru bribery, Sony does thru industry relationships.

MS had to pay Rockstar $50 million to make GTA IV exclusive for 1 year.

That's their customers' money that could have been used for R&D or something useful, or a new game budget.

And in the end Rockstar cuddled up to Sony.
