People are not saying these things to hurt your feelings. They're just letting you know you could have bought a much better system for near enough half of what you paid. All they want is two things:

1) Just admit the truth

2) Get rid of your PS3 so that developers stop supporting it.

That way everyone wins because the best developers will develop on the best system.

Yes. Nobody bought the Xbox or 360 because of the MS brand name.  They bought it because it was a huge financial success, had the most games and the widest variety of genres of all the consoles.  Nobody bought the Wii because of brand name...why would they when we all know Nintendo makes terrible games.

Oh wait.  That's just ridiculous. Everyone buys console based on brand and what they interpret the meaning of the brand to be.  Simple as that. 

Other than that, I agree with you that so far the PS3 is mounting up to the legendary duo that was PS1 and PS2.

If everyone boycotted the PS2 we would have missed out on so many fantastic games last gen, and that's obviously not what gamers want.

Why is it you are so certain that PS3 is the weaker console when so many devs have said otherwise? Even now the multiplats are even but later in the year they won't be, they'll be better on the PS3 according to so many devs who are actually making these games.

What have my past experiences got to do with this discussion? Didn't your parents teach you basic etiquette? I can't understand why you take things so personally.

Since you are feeling sore over the Xbox vs PS2, yea some games with better graphics, then why did the original Xbox controller sucked? Hardware didn't helped it there. Also why to care about all that, guess what there are other superior hardware that's PC but guess what? Not everyone likes it for gaming or it's game, many ppl may like the sixaxis or the other PS3 features over the 360 just like you seem to do last gen.tegovoltio

Do you have any idea how it feels to watch FF cutscenes and fan videos and spinoff features knowing that your console could better approximate those talented scenes in-game but the games company won't support your console because it would make a rival company upset?

Do you mean the Wii or the PS3? I hope you mean the Wii because my store recieved 6 PS3's a month ago and we have only sold 1 of them. We have had 5 PS3's for over a month now.
