[QUOTE="Nidget"][QUOTE="Jandurin"] I can't tell if this is sarcasm.RadecSupreme

*checks profile* Hmm, no sign of any cow traits, must have been sarcasm

So now he has to be a cow to like the PSP Go. Its not a bad product.

Ignore Nidget he's an angry fanboy who hates Sony, just look at his posts, its all anti-Sony. If Sony were a person he'd stab him/her in the neck.

[QUOTE="djohnstonXCII"]

I may sound like an idiot but I will be buying the PSPGo...My original PSP 1000 will be used for all my UMD games like Dissidia, Crisis Core, Daxter and GOW, and I will buy the PSPGo and use its 16GB memory for PSOne Classics, downloadable games and music

Nocturnal_Speed

Your not the only one dude. I'm using it for Downloadable games only, which my PSP-3000 will be for UMD available games. I'll mostly be using it as a Ipod which I'll put all my music on (hence more portable) and pictures. Probably be getting one this Christmas as a gift.

The price isnt as bad as one would think...if you think about it, before the price of the 8GB IPod touch went down, it cost just as much, if not more then the PSPGo. I payed $275 for my 8GB, and the PSPGo has 16GB. Although I do understand why some people would be negative towards the price, for a piece of hardware that is marketed as a top-tier portable gaming system it is a little pricy, but for a portable media player (music, movies, pictures, portable games) i think the price is dead on. My 4GB memory stick on my 1000 wont hold FFVII, FFVIII, all the Spyro games and FFIX when it is released

Why would anyone want a PSP Go? Cause they like being limited by what they're offered on PSN and have no interest in being able to play all the games already released on UMD. Basically, they like paying more for an inferior product.

God no.

As a consumer, I'd rather buy the older ones with the bigger screen.

The design is better for portability but other than that it's really bad. Although going full DD may be smart on paper it's not. Many don't have wireless internet or in my case an Internet compatible to video game systems. And then making it the same price of consoles... Not smart at all Sony. They need to revert back to their old selves like in the Ps1 and Ps2 era.

Yuck!

too expensive for a portable since I already have a PSP.

Why didn't they go the PS3 slim route with the PSP ?- cut out some features make it even smaller and be cheaper since there is no umd drive and don't have to ship to retailers or something.

I hope Apple really starts building up their games portfolio even more on the Iphone and Ipod touch to encourage SOny to do better then that.

Why are Sony products typically expensive?

Vaio, Bravia, the PS2...

I still have yet to even get the original bigger PSP the previous couple of years, and unless Sony do something about the price I don't see any chances the PSP Go sales increasing anytime soon.

Why would I buy a PSP Go?

  • I don't own a PSP anymore and I want to get one soon.
  • It comes with 16GB of storage, I won't have to buy a separate memory stick.
  • I barely used the UMD drive back when I had a PSP so it's presence won't be missed.
  • I like the design of the PSP Go, it looks like it would feel more confortable on my hands.
  • I have quite a few PSOne games that I would like to take on the go.

Any questions?

It is almost as expensive as a 360 or PS3! In Denmark, it's even the same price as the PS3. It's also MORE expensive than the Wii (or at least when the price drop is enacted). I always liked Sony, for those who know me, but they really dropped the ball on this one. 250 dollars? No thanks, I mean, just drop Bluetooth or something! Anything to lower the price on that!

GodofBigMacs

Well because some people have money to burn and they want the latest and greatest(well maybe not greatest LOL) technology.
