Why would anyone buy MW3 over Battlefield 3?

If you like MW3 than that's cool and all but I just don't understand how people could possibly think it's better or even on the same level as Battlefield 3. If you look at both games it becomes very clear that Battlefield 3 gives you the best value for your money.

Battlefield runs on dedicated servers, MW3 runs on laggy p2p

Battlefield has a higher play count, MW3 same old small number

Battlefield 3 has bigger maps

Battlefield 3 has destructable environemnts, MW3 does not

Battlfefield 3 has a wide range vehicles, MW3 has nothing

Battlefield 3 has better graphics and is on a more powerful engine, MW3 is the same old COD engine and graphics

Battlefield 3 is more realistic like bullets dropping over long distances ect.., MW3 is all about shooting two guns at once and knifing a guy 10 feet away

Battlefield 3 has FULLY customizabel weapons, MW3 just has the same old attachments

Battlefield 3 developers give things to their customers for free and don't charge for stupid stuff, MW3 will have the same rehashed 5 maps for 20$ and will chage for elite mode

Overall it's pretty obvious that Battlefield 3 is the superior product and the one that is more worth your money in terms of content and quality. If you are going to buy MW3 then that is perfectly fine, but I just don't understand how someone could think it's better than Battlefield 3.Just go watch the gameplay videos and you will see that MW3 has nothing on Battlefield 3 besides popularity, which btw does NOT equal better.

I am as well boggled by this. BF3 is obviously superior in every significant way.

because for me mw3 is going to be the better game , though i'm not getting mw3 till way later next year, if my friends are still going crazy for it.

Because I want to see who lives and who dies in MW3, and I like to mess with the ragers.

People will buy MW3 over BF3 because they dont have the skill to play more difficult games like Battlefield.

Hype, advertising, casuals can't play BF,

COD fanboys ect. :P

Is there any doubt EA has awful servers at least on consoles? So many connection problems and frequent lag it certainly makes CoD p2p feellike a gift from heaven.

I don't know about you but I play Battlefield Bad Company 2 all the time on PSN and I don't get any lag or server disconnects at all. Mabey it's just your connection?

Battlefield 3 has bigger maps same as above. I see you don't play BF at all. The maps are large BUT the battles occur in small areas as well. For example, in rush, you're not all over the place, you have objectives and you go to that specific area. SO large maps + small maps is >> greater than only small maps.

Its obvious destructable environments brings a whole new level of gameplay and tactics into the game. I would rather be able to choose goig through a door OR blowing up a wall and taking the back route. Simple. Destructable environments = better engine = variety > no destructable environments.

IM sure you wouldn't be saying this if COD has BF graphics. Graphics is a part of the game if you want to believe it or not.
