Why wouldnt squareenix do a remake for FFVII?!! DAMN!!

why wouldnt they bring that masterpiece back?!? and make some good money for them and make us happy ?!!

i know there will be a FFXIII but still want a remake for FFVII ... it would be a clever right?

X-2 was just a spin off though.

They have too many games developing right now so they can't. And i think they will make a remake when the PS3 has a bigger installbaseEPaul

X-2 was just a spin off though.

Ar man no FFXII was nothing compared to the oldies. It just left me totally empty with no feelings for the characters.

Such a disappointment.

the game is special to millions of people, taking a risk and remaking could totally ruin it for some people. I do think they should re release the ps1 version for DL on like psn or something, the games price is insane ranging from 80 bucks used to 300 new. I honestly think they should leave this classic alone, they about destroyed it with Dirge of Cerberus and other spin offs.blackeneddeath

spin offs arent like a remake .. also the movie was awesome to me and Crisis core is awesome too and dirge of cerberus is pretty much about vincent only .

still... i dont think they should mess around with this anymore.

They will eventually, if they'll release crap like Dirge of Cerberus for some cash, there is no way they wont do a remake of FFVII.

Yeah, I totally want to play an RPG with a story I've already read, characters I've already seen and gameplay I've already played.

Heck, Why should SE even make new RPGs? Just remake the old ones :|

No, how about just a really bad arse FF6 remake since it's a better game and all and has such a unique art style.

Though I'd be cool with it on the wii if the controls were pure point and click.

Because taking the time and resources to make this game means that we just going to get less new games to play. I already own this game. I've already beaten this game. I see no point in trying to remake this game when it could become a bastardization of a c1assic. Give us something new. We already have enough Spinoff/remakes/spinoffs ect.
