Yeah I am getting a Wii U around that time. It's really the only next gen console worth getting right now for me. Can't wait to try out Wonderful 101 and Monster Hunter 3 ultimate!

Which relies on holiday sales? Flawed logic is flawed.

I'm having a hard time deciding between a U and a 3DS right now. A Link Between Worlds is mighty tempting, as is the extremely strong rest of the 3DS' library.

It's not the truth at all. You say this and provide no basis for the statement.

It's all their fault if gamers lost faith in them. It's all their fault if they believed that the casual market would mature into something more. It's all their fault to be cocky about strong hardware not being important. It's all their fault if they lost 3rd party support.

They should blame themselves and themselves only for suffering poor sales with the Wii U.

But, it's scary to think that Nintendo could just abandon the home console business, so I still want to support them by buying their console. Even if my purchase won't mean a thing, but I'm hoping more people will do the same.

Lol at that list of games. 90% of the Wii U ones were inferior multiplats and then you had the gall to add a bunch of wii games to make it look better. A year out of the gate and the Wii U is only matching with PS4 and X1 with the amount of software it has. Its silly to try to say it offers more.

Since you have Wii games in there, why not add GC and N64 games? We're on a roll so lets add nes and snes so it completes the list! WiiU has nothing, nothing in one year, just sad.

I want a wiiu but the snails pace of good games is a big setback. With the ps4/xbone out this month they missed a trick not giving a wiiu a aggressive pricecut to make people think bout getting it with mario 3d world etc

already got my wiiu laste week and i got it from my dealer with the mario and luigi u bundle. im loving it. my zelda hd is being shipped will recieve it tommorrow and on the 22 will download mario 3d world. if it wasnt for nintendo this holiday would have been boring. tho i wish they would release mario kart and bayonetta earlier. mid 2014 feels so far away.

yea man.... if they released mario kart or smash bros this year....they would have sold buttloads of consoles...

now they are releasing next year with heavy competition.....they wont sell as well as if it had released this year.

get a wiiu. a new zelda is in the making and wih mario wd world mario u luigi u bayonetta , x, kart 8 and smash brothers. the system has a bright future. and the good thing about the u is that it is not focused on online gaming thus having low sales will not affect the consumer since all games are siongle player games.

and as for mario kart 8 and ssb every owner of wiiu will get those games and play it online.

but dont expect much third party title, nintendo is a system bought for its exclusives, but the wiiu has decent third party exclsuive and some great third party games

the wii u is good short term investment but wii all know it not going to last. Reminds me of the dreamcast great games with a interesting controller but no 3rd party support and horrible leadership. Like then the dreamcast/wwi u was/is a good system but it had/has no legs.

There is like then/now only one clear choice the playstation. After seeing the sony leadership bring the ps3 back from the brink of death to glory I have no doubt sony is going to own this gen. In NA along the ps4 has sold more than 1 million consoles in 24hrs.

Only unlike the Dreamcast situation, SEGA still had it's losses from it's past failures, unlike Nintendo who still has the financials needed.

Sega was their own worse enemy. They had so many failure systems out at the same time while Nintendo just capitalized on the Wii and DS and the current successful 3DS.

Im still waiting to see the new zelda reveal next E3 before I decide to buy one. Also where's Star Fox Wii U? Pilot Wings? Metroid?

It only has good games if you like Nintendo first party games. BC only matters if you owned a Wii. It has crap third party support. I hate the controller and the tech is last gen and I already have a last gen console with the PS3, which has a way better library and better online, which is also free.

Star Fox and Metroid are on hiatus.

Listing games coming out next year doesn't really justify buying one now.
