If they'd just release a few of the freaking classics that they are showering Japan with.
The only thing that has been keeping my Wii on my shelf at all is the potential that Mario RPG and Earthbound might finally hit the system, the former a game that is lost at my parent's house and the latter being one that I've only (cough) played on an emulator (cough) and would like to finally own and play a legitimate copy.
Well I found out today that this last June Mario RPG was released in Japan,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Virtual_Console_games_(Japan)
so that's a good sign. Mother isn't on that list though, I thought it was already released
And as for PSN, as much as I have come to love Stardust HD and Pixeljunk Eden, I can't help by be jealous of this list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PSOne_clas sics
Where games like Alundra and Einhander would be happy downloads for $6.
And I KNOW that people would be estatic over Xenogears, Metal Gear Solid, and Brave Fencer Musashi.
Maybe "KILL" is a strong word, but for me at least, those clas sics alone would make me completely ignore anything that Microsoft's service has right now...
(I'm still kinda wish N+ would come on over to Wiiware or PSN though.)
By the way, what platform are you getting Megaman 9 on?
Personally I'm going with my PS3, because it has the best controller IMO. I don't consider the sideways Wiimote to be a good enough "NES" controller for nostalgia purposes, and the clas sic Controller, though pretty much the same as the PS3's, it doesn't have the hand holds the PS3 controller has (Without crappy third party attachments anyway.)
As for the X-Box, its controller is going to suck the most for Megaman 9, at least for me, because I think a regular D-Pad is better for that game rather than an anologue stick, and the X-Box has the most uncomfortable D-Pad next to the Gamecube Controller.
