So that makes the Wii vs PS3 AAA totals as follows:
3(2) Wii - 2 if you're a large, lazy man and take out TP

[QUOTE="mis3ry"]:| No. No VC or XBLA game will ever score AAA. Tristam22If there's a chance for any game to score AAA it'd be a game that originally scored AAAA.I agree, but the chances are slim to none, and people are being foolish actually hyping this game AAA. It's my favourite game of all time, but it's not going to score AAA by today's standards, even though it's still widely considered the greatest game of all time.

Oh no I agree that the chance is "slim" but I'm not dismissing it entirely. Didn't LttP score 8.5? No doubt some favor LttP over OoT, but I can't say that I do. As amazing as LttP was, OoT still managed to top it.

People need to realise that OoT was amazing for it's time, it was on another level, but to compare the game by todays standards just isn't fair. Especially for 3D games. 2D games like LttP can hold up to time better because Graphics more or less stay the same.

Even more so when he dissed its sequel.
Don't worry about the review, Jeff won't have to make any large strenuous movements to play OOT like he kinda, maybe, sorta had to sometimes with TP. So that's at least .2 points higher than TP right there!!

I couldn't make that call because my judgment would be clouded by nostalgia and the firm belief that this is the greatest game ever made. However, I'm not convinced that GS reviewers won't be wearing rose-colored glasses while playing this game either, so I'm not convinced it won't necessarily score AAA.

[QUOTE="VGobbsesser"]Can you see into the future?Because there is no way anybody would know if a game would get AAA before the reviews comes out.FusibleYou do realize this game is one of four that ever got AAAA on GS. Thats tells you alot.Four? Oh, wait... THPS3 x)
If this doesn't get AAA, then no VC game ever will..Nex_Ownage... Super Metroid? It is still considered the best game ever made by most game review sites.

I don't know why they are reviewing games that have already been reviewed. Now they're reviewing OoT... It would soil its AAAA status =/16bitkevin
I don't see your problem. ALL reviews are point-in-time reviews. It doesn't matter if someone re-reviews a game. It doesn't take away from OOT being AAAA 10 years ago. It just makes OOT AAA or AA or whatever TODAY.

If gamespot dont give this game a AAA then they are officially idiots. They shudn't be rating VC games in the first place. If their going to do it then they should consider the platform the game was actually on, not by todays standards. If OoT doesn't get AAA gamepot are lame.
The game will stand it's test of time because. I mean the game play isn't dated the graphics have aged fine. If it's released today it would be longer than most games. It has an Orchestra score.
