So you pay $600 for a console with games that don't even justify the price tag, right?

There are great games out, plus we have BC, plus a Blu-ray Player, we have free internet, LOL no friends code, we play music, we have a lot of stuff, we have true HD. Good luck playing horrible looking minigames that doesn't justify $55.

personally Im digging the multimedia features of the ps3, but my ipod is still at home with the 360.

I own a high-spec gaming PC, a 360 and a Wii. I've not once stopped while playing my Wii and thought, '£$%@ - these graphics suck!'. I must've been having too much fun at the time.

It's much more powerful than last generation's competition. As per Mr_sprinkles - a port is going to look the same as it looked on the console that it was originally programmed for. I know it's getting a little old, but = lazy/cheap devs.

This is not a new one... this one was annouced about 2 months ago... and it's a PSP port... IE they are rushing whatever they can to the Wii because it's selling like hot cakes... I don't see them throwing tons of X360 ports on the PS3...

Sure. Every console has its fair share of bad games. There are some truly beautiful games on the Wii and some graphically horrible ones. Remember Gun on the 360?

It's a PS2 port, and the screenshots are bad. Of course it's going to look like #$%&. I just look forward to when developers have had time to work with the Wii, and actually make some original games.

I didn't get my Wii for graphics. I knew going in that they wouldn't be as high quality as the 360/PS3. I bought it for spastic limb flailing and the unlimited potential for fun drunk Wii sports holds.

Also, you sound like a tool. "Look at those textures on the left.!" And that lighting effect on the patio furniture! Atrocious! Don't even get me started on the low resolution caramel flavored hamster wheel.

Well I don't think people got their Wii's for PS2 ports either. Seriously, who the hell is going to buy this game? Unless of course for the people that have not played it yet, because if so it might just be interesting with the Wii controls.

Lost Planet is a fun game

Motostorm is a fun game

These games flopped but they look good and play well.

Something the Wii will never have: Good graphics AND  good gameplay.

I just rented  Gears of War the other day, played some co-op, and some of the story. i had a good time but for some reason, the game didnt WOW me. its gameplay was good, the chainsawing was fun, and the graphics were probably the best i have seen in real life while i was playing. yet i was not really impressed with the game and i dont really feel like buying it. maybe its the fact that i used a low rez projector, but then my wii's "bad" graphics should look a lot "worse"  this shows me that graphics dont mean much to me. at least not now perhaps when people were literally still blocky. not jus jaggy i can stand that, but blocky. I still like rainbow six better. not for its graphics.

False. Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Smash Bros Brawl. if you cant appreciate those games, your blind. not saying their as good as 360/PS3, but no doubt they are pretty still.

Im just gonna say this, This is the next gen of gaming which means that the consoles and the games are going to look better and play better than ever before.  The wii only delivers on the fact that games can be played differently, but not necessarily better.  In this next gen it is important to have both awsome graphics as well as gameplay and not only half of it.  The wii only gives you half of what you want in a next gen system.  You might as well call the wii a gamecube slim like the ps2 slim.

but the other systems mostly deliver half of it too, since it can't produce much of the new gameplay aspect. and dont tell me that all those new games have new gameplay and stuff. cause the wii has good graphics too, just not to the extent of the other two. so you might as well say that the other two have new gameplay but not as new as the wii's.

just look at this!!!! blurred and muddy to freakin death! this is strictly PS2 QUALITY!!!!
will the wii ever produce a sharp texture in his life???? plus everything seems to have a very low detailed finish, low poly environments from 4 years ago...



look at the column at the right in this pic, you can actually count how many polygons it has.... and dont even get me started on the wall texture of the left





this feels like playing ps2.... where is the improvement from next gen? oh yeah....instead of pressing A to slash now i swing the wiimote like a monkey.....wow....
sheeps, prepare for total graphical trash for the upcoming 5 years... nintendo better stick to kiddy looking things, it can hide the pathetic hardware better
